Purchased a new 2025 Honda Accord Touring Zaman was my sales representative and did an amazing job. We worked very hard to get the best deal he could for me. He was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable sales representative and did an amazing job. We worked very hard to get the best deal he could for me. He was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicle and purchase. I had a few issues (questions) after picking up my new car and he was very helpful in helping me with them. Eric the Finance Manager was also very helpful and knowledgeable. Purchasing a vehicle from Waterloo Honda was a very positive experience. John G More
Overall, the experience has been just okay, not great and not terrible. Considering the name Honda Pride, we expected a more professional and customer-focused experience. The sales process was average and a not terrible. Considering the name Honda Pride, we expected a more professional and customer-focused experience. The sales process was average and at times felt rushed, with room for better communication and attention to customer needs. The finance process was completed, but explanations around paperwork, pricing, and options could have been clearer and more transparent. Since the purchase, we have returned for routine service and maintenance. These visits have resulted in mixed experiences. Some staff members are helpful and courteous, while others lack professionalism and do not seem well-suited for a customer service driven industry. Overall, the dealership meets basic expectations but falls short of delivering a consistently strong experience. With improved staff training, clearer communication, and a stronger focus on customer care across sales, finance, and service, the experience could better reflect the pride suggested by the name. they reel you in with promises and don't deliver after the sale. purchased a pre owned Honda passport and while consider the purchase I expressed concern with a couple issues that our salesman promised wo the sale. purchased a pre owned Honda passport and while consider the purchase I expressed concern with a couple issues that our salesman promised would be addressed because the Honda certification program standards are set much higher than regular Ontario certification standards. Not true!!! The vehicle had some stone chips and had a couple scuffs in the paint. I was told that would all be fixed and buffed with a nice nano coating to protect for the future. I expressed that I wasn't happy with the amount of wear on the tires and initially told by the salesman that he was 90% sure those tires would be replaced as per the "Honda certification program" The purchase was made and when I came to pick the vehicle up all that was done was basically a wash and vacuum was all that was done. the scuffs had been fixed but the finish was poor. I complained that what was promised wasn't done. I also kept on them about the tire wear being an issue. The tires would barely pass inspection and after looking closer I found that 2 of the tires had cracks in the side wall. so they agreed to take the vehicle back to do the work to the paint that was promised. so I go to pick it up and again the stone chips weren't addressed. So after complaining again about the issue with the tires and paint. The salesman gets his manager to come come talk to me. I was made to feel like I was wasting his time (as he kept looking at his watch smugly) and he blamed me for just not accepting their answers about my complaints. Especially about the tires. my research told me that no tires with sidewall cracks of any kind should pass safety in Ontario. Yet this almighty Honda certification program wasn't willing to put new tires on the vehicle. and as for the paint chips that weren't addressed they just told me they would send me a paint chip pen and I could do it myself. I also purchased a tire warranty and an actual gouge had occurred in the sidewall of one of the tires in the time I had the vehicle. I asked about putting at that tire through the warranty and was told "oh well it's usually at least 3 weeks of ownership before we put anything through warranty. So basically they say what they have to to make the sale and if they deem your requests to be too much they just don't do them. Even if they were promised and written in text to me. after having the vehicle for a couple weeks it was obvious that the detail department is very poor at their job. the surface scratches that were supposed to be fixed are still there. I am left standing with having to purchase new tires in the near future as well. At the end of the day my experience is one that I would have expected at a random used car dealership on a destitute highway that swindles their customers. Waterloo Honda does not live u to the acclaimed Honda certification program. The only reason I left 2 stars is because the vehicle itself is solid and suites my families needs.(it's only 2 years old) More
