Good afternoon Christopher & Elrika, I would like to thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We pride ourselves in customer service and appreciate you letting us know that we did not reach your expectations. If I could provide some insight. The 30,000km service is more than just an oil change. The pollen filter and fuel filter were replaced as well as some additional checks on the vehicle. We also had two technicians working on the vehicle at the same time, to reduce the amount of time the vehicle was in the shop. It is regrettable that you were originally charged for a tire rotation, and there could have been a better explanation as to the work that was going to be completed. We like to provide our clients with a friendly, open, and transparent servicing experience. It is disappointing that we did not meet your expectations with this service and appreciate you letting us know. We would like to provide you a $294.61 store credit (the cost of the service) for you to try us again. I’m confident that this was an anomaly and you will be pleased with your next service as you were with the sales experience. Dear Mr. Sellner, Thank you for addressing our concern. We understand that the dealership pride itself in providing a high quality of customer service and maintaining business integrity. Through the glass window of the shop, we can see that there was only one technician working on the vehicle. There was two technicians that were on duty at the time the car was in the repair area but we can see that there was another vehicle beside us that required a more extensive repair and the other technician was working tirelessly on that one. The customer who owned the other vehicle happened to be in front of us when paying for the service. We are disappointed that your explanation neglect the fact that we were present when our vehicle was under service. Even so, if this was the case, the service advisor should explained the reasoning to Elrika when she asked about the 1.5 hours charged, instead he replied that it was the service standard and stapled the service manager's business card to the receipt as a response. As business professionals, we know that the integrity and customer service quality are two important aspects that customers are looking for in repeat business. We suggest that you use the store credit amount that you are willing to allocate to us as an initial fund to start training/retraining your service advisors and your staff on basic customer service skills. During our visit, David Rich failed to display the basic customer skills such as smiling to customer, greeting the customer upon arriving, explaining the charge items instead of stapling the service manager's business card to the receipt and apologize for the service delay. We believe this will help your department and the dealership in the long run and to ensure that other customers will not have to experience the frustration like we did. Thank you.
