We have owned 9 VW’s. Never again as result of this dealership in Victoria. They are an awful dealer - terrible service department and incompetent management. I have owned 9 VW vehicles and because of these folks we sold our faulty id4 at a huge loss. It was broken and at their dealership for most of the past year broken and unable to be repaired. They were awful to deal with and left our car out where it was vandalized and left unlocked for days near the bus stop. Our belongings were stolen as result. The management team are useless and unhelpful. They have been dishonest and incompetent. We recorded our encounters and phone calls to collect evidence of their unprofessional and inappropriate behaviour and business practices. Complaints to VW Canada were not much more helpful than anything the dealer did. We will never go back and are in the process of pursuing legal action for costs and damages and the loss we suffered on the disposal of our car. More

We usually deal with Michelle who always knows us and asks how we are, as well as our vehicle. She assists us with every detail and does all she can to assist us herself. This time we were not able to use your customer vehicle so we had to rent a car. Michelle went out of her way trying to keep our rental to one day instead of two. Had my car towed to Volkswagen after it broke down. I asked a few times if it could be the alternator, but they assured me it was just the battery. I bought a new one elsewhere, but two days later, the I asked a few times if it could be the alternator, but they assured me it was just the battery. I bought a new one elsewhere, but two days later, the car broke down again. A second shop immediately diagnosed it as the alternator and couldn’t believe Volkswagen had missed it. I didn’t think my request was unreasonable- I wasn’t trying to avoid paying, just hoping to put the money from the incorrect diagnosis toward the correct one. When I called to explain, the service manager, Noah, at Volkswagen said I hadn’t been a customer in four years, told me he wasn’t interested in continuing the conversation, and hung up on me mid-sentence. Really brutal service. More

I was recently in the dealership to have a lease inspection done and buyout my lease vehicle. Mya at the front desk gave me exceptional service as she always does. She knows me by name, is always professional but personally friendly. When I question a repair she goes above and beyond to ensure that I am satisfied. All the front desk staff have always been great to deal with. I dealt with Ryan and Dale this time as well regarding the lease buyout. Just had our 1 year service on our 2024 ID4. Minor software glitch was investigated over a few days with a loaner available for entire time. Marc, in service contacted us daily with updates. So far I have had 2 experiences with this dealer, being new to the Island. I went in with unevenly worn brakes that had 5,000km on them. The brakes stuttered with anything but the softest feathering. They new to the Island. I went in with unevenly worn brakes that had 5,000km on them. The brakes stuttered with anything but the softest feathering. They insisted that I'd had an emergency braking situation that caused the wear. So first, I had 500km on them, as they were installed 2 weeks earlier before I left Toronto for the move west. Second, are they saying that their brakes will not take an emergency braking? My second visit was to order some touch up paint. They did not call when the paint came in and, discussing this with other VW owners, this appears to be their policy. Calling a customer when parts come in is too costly, so the customer has to call. It seems that they are excellent at putting themselves first. Looking forward to my new Subaru. More
