I was searching for a pre owned vehicle, and some would say I was a bit picky in what I was searching for as I was quite specific in what I wanted and wasn't going to compromise. Rob from the get go completely understood, and didn't try to pressure me into a vehicle that didn't fit the criteria. His correspondence was excellent, always answering promptly, and kept on following up with vehicles coming in that were possible options for me. Was a refreshing change from other salesmen I had dealt with, and I wouldn't hesitate to refer him for anyone searching for a vehicle. More

After a terrible customer service experience at another Volkswagen dealership, I was very happy to receive customer service that went above my expectations. Sara was very friendly and helpful. Just had a terrible experience with Clarkdale service. I leased my Volkswagon Rabbit in 2008 and have been a loyal service client at Clarkdale VW ever since. On Monday while driving on an extremely steep hi leased my Volkswagon Rabbit in 2008 and have been a loyal service client at Clarkdale VW ever since. On Monday while driving on an extremely steep hill my clutch suddenly burnt out. VW apparently only covers the clutch for first year so after 3 years and 60 000 km I have to replace my clutch "due to wear and tear". I learned to drive standard on my family's Ford and Honda vehicles and we had those cars for years without an issue. The final bill is $2500 and Clarkdale initially offered me 5% off and then after much negotiation, 15%. I suppose they're more interested in making profits in the short term rather than budge on the cost of the part or their labor to keep a customer for the long haul. In this economy I'm suprised they're so willing to loose a client. I will not be leasing or buying a VW again and I'll most definitely not be recommending VW or Clarkdale. More
