Came to titan in august 2022 to look at vehicles with my wife and kids and trade in a Volvo XC90 , I test drove one vehicle and they ran my credit check 3 TIMES WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. It wasn’t even a vehic wife and kids and trade in a Volvo XC90 , I test drove one vehicle and they ran my credit check 3 TIMES WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. It wasn’t even a vehicle I liked, they just tossed me the keys and said see if you like it and while I was gone, ran my credit through the wringer. I was already pre approved with my current lender for a specified amount and was only going to use them. The ran me through RBC, cone is and scotia, again they didn’t even have anything I liked so what amount were they trying to check me for. Now it makes sense why the finance manager nearly chased me out the door to buy something else cause they realized they ran my credit without expressed verbal consent and their actions were now borderline illegal. I tried contacting them about the incident to give them fair chance to correct it and several calls and contacts were ignored. This should draw their attention, along with contact from ombudsman and credit agency as to why I have started multiple disputes More
