They sold us the wrong vehicle -incorrect VIN on new vehicle We had always been very pleased with the service that we received from Team Ford in the past and had purchased several vehicles over the years from th We had always been very pleased with the service that we received from Team Ford in the past and had purchased several vehicles over the years from them. Our last transaction, however, has been a completed disaster. They had two identical new vehicles on the lot and sold us one of them but they completed all the finance and other sales paperwork for one vehicle and delivered the other one to us. We would not have realized the discrepancy had we not been in a minor accident and the repair shop informing us that the VIN on our registration did not match the one on the vehicle. We immediately contacted the dealership to inform them of the discrepancy. It took us SEVERAL e-mails and calls to the dealership to get the correct VIN information and we had to REQUEST that they pay the cost of changing the registration. We now thought that this issue was fully address, but about a month or so later, received a call from the RCMP saying that a vehicle that was registered to us was pulled over and the driver could not produce the correct registration for this vehicle...it was the vehicle that we had first registered in error! They did not do their due diligence and contact the other purchaser, there is now a lean against our vehicle as the other purchaser stopped making payments and the vehicle in the impound lot cannot be released to the repossession company as the VIN still does not match. They are slow to call back and the entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth to the point that not only will we never purchase a vehicle from them again, I would think twice about using any of the Go Auto affiliated dealerships... More
