Misrepresentation. Dishonesty. An insult to business! Damaged car for the price of a brand new one Worse car buying experience ever! Offered me a selection of other vehicles. By the time I responded they were no longer available. I had picked the 2017 sport model They wasted time for two weeks and finally I agreed to a car without the eyesight. They said it would be in next week. I get a call, they confirm that my car is ready and I can pick it up the next day at 2. But the night before after work I get a call telling me that they prepped the wrong car. Don't worry they said. We have yours and will have it ready in a few days. No compensation for the fact that I am now Car-less since I sold my previous one for the day of possession in anticipation of picking up the new one. They offer the shuttle service to take me from my home to my work but I work too early for them so: no. Not an option. I ask for a courtesy car. Not an option. Then the owner calls to tell me that not only is the car not in their lot but it also has a scratch on the roof. Get your stories straight!! Will they compensate? Not an option. But they will redo the paint job and leave me the car for the same price as the scratch-free model... Not an option for me. This is what happened: they got it last week, took it off the transport and likely scratched it and now they expect me to take it because they think I'm an idiot? I don't think so. I called another dealer thé same morning where I was supposed to pick up my car. They were happy to accommodate me. They had the 5-door Impreza sport-tech available in the lot (no scratch) and matched the price I was given by Subaru Outaouais. (Who btw refused to negotiate) These guys took me for a ride. They thought they could make all these bogus excuses and convince me to buy a damaged car for the price of a new one. I called the owner, canceled the transaction, requested that my deposit be refunded and he never apologized and almost hung up on me. Bravo for your top notch customer service. I will recommend to all my friends never to buy a car from you. Rather they should see the other two dealers in Ottawa. More

They lied to us about having consulted the rep from Subaru Canada and said that they could do nothing - even insinuated that we were neurotic. Finally went to Westboro Subaru. They actually did consult Subaru Canada who confirmed that this series had a defect and graciously offered to repaint the whole car while we were on holiday. Would only recommend Subaru Outaouais to my worst enemy. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. More

Each time they did not clean the car, they even dirty the car with dirty fingers on my car seats. After complaining the receptionist cleaned the car herself, not even the mechanics. Also when I bought the car they told me they had brand new 4 season tires. Well, when I changed my winter tires 2 weeks ago for the 4 season tires, it turned out that 2 tires were completely warned, they were not new tires. They lied to me. Lately just as I was going to service my car a third time at 51,000 KM, I had to add 1 liter of motor oil. When I did this I realized they had never changed my oil when I was charged for this the first two times I went to service the car. Now it is finished with me I will never go there again to service my Subaru, I am now going to another Subaru dealer. I do not trust them at all, and am under the impression they are fraudulently charging me for repairs and maintenance that they are not doing. They never went the extra mile to apologies or to solve the problem, instead they are arrogant and unfriendly. I do not know how come they are still in business. Obviously from all the reviews, I am not the only one to be fed up with them. More

Subaru Outaouais/Gatineau frauded me - a bunch of liars! I bought an used Subaru Outback at this dealership for 19k in cash! AFTER 10 DAYS MY CAR GOT BROKEN! Before the purchase I HAVE BEEN TOLD that t I bought an used Subaru Outback at this dealership for 19k in cash! AFTER 10 DAYS MY CAR GOT BROKEN! Before the purchase I HAVE BEEN TOLD that the dealership provides for all used vehicles a BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty valid for one month/1.700 km. 12th day of purchase I called them to report the defect. After 5 DAYS of negotiation THEY HAVE SAID THAT I ACTUALLY DO NOT HAVE A BUMPER-TO-BUMPER WARRANTY (with no explanation) and that I will need to pay for check up and repair. Am I from Mars or what??? I wanted to talk to their General Manager to clarify the things out, but he was very very busy to call me back. And before a purchase he was always there/available for me! There are some other things which I have seen there and think people should know about. But I'm planning to write a blog with a detailed information soon and post a link to. SHAME ON YOU SUBARU Outaouais/Gatineau!!! I hope you are all happy now after taking my bloody-earned money. I cannot go anywhere with my family now... Special thanks to the General Manager!!!
