I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge an excellent service provided to me by Hyundai Stouffville. There are two instances worth mentioning, as follows: The first one needs a short back an excellent service provided to me by Hyundai Stouffville. I bought my 2018 Santa Fe from another dealer and it was not a pleasant experience at all but I still entrusted my car maintenance to them believing that a relationship can be develop through trust. - believing that they will do according to the job order even if I don’t see it personally. And that trust was broken, not just once but twice. I need not elaborate on this but Adam and whoever the technician/mechanic he worked with helped me a lot to identify the issue and resolve it. To Adam and your mechanics, thank you so much. The second instance is about the windshield crack with no impact point. Once again I called the dealership where I bought my Santa FE to claim warranty on the windshield replacement and to my dismay the service advisor immediately said NO even it was just a phone conversation, no visual inspection and even insisting that it is impossible for it to crack without impact. I never argued because I believe I will be wasting my time with people/dealership that have a conclusion/decision without doing an actual inspection. I called Hyundai Stouffville and they were very accommodating in resolving the issue by arranging a visual assessment of the windshield crack. Thanks to Darren he patiently and meticulously assessed the crack as no impact point, took pictures and checked if it is still within the warranty period. And yes it is still covered and ordered the replacement. -its been replaced. To Darren and guys who did the job, thank you so much. And, Mike who gave me a ride to and from home. He is a very nice person. We have a very nice conversation about the car he drives - Santa Fe Hybrid. He even gave me insights on the benefits of hybrid and electric cars. He is an ambassador of Hyundai cars. Thanks for the great ride experience. Kudos to Adam, Darren, Mike, all the guys that worked behind the scene and the sweet lady at the reception. The people working here were very professional and did not try to push anything we did not want. Visited the dealership for a car wash (At the service a few weeks prior the washer was closed d/t the freezing weather). While on site I asked if the service people could check my NAV. (I am still under wa few weeks prior the washer was closed d/t the freezing weather). While on site I asked if the service people could check my NAV. (I am still under warranty). Though my request was last minute & they were busy, they still took the time to assist me without complaint & genuine friendliness. Very pleased with the service. I will continue to patronize this dealership & will continue my relationship with them. Not entirely sure if my NAV is working properly, but I really appreciate their efforts. More
