Service Just bought a nice CRV and was happy with the process. The sales guy was knowledgeable and helped us by explaining all of the features of the vehicle. I negotiated a remote starter into the deal and service recommended the, Genuine Honda Remote Start. We got it. Its retail value was described as approximately 800 dollars and we were happy. The starter is a disgrace. It rarely works and we have been back several times about it. Just had a service done and brought up the issue of my unhappiness with the starter issue. The girl at the desk simply said, "Not my problem" and walked away. To those of you buying: Consider Sterling Honda and their excellent sales staff. To those of you servicing: These guys are awful and should be avoided. For me: I'm going to an after market starter place to have this tumor extracted and a really great and reliable 400 dollar starter installed. The tumor I will attempt to send back. Terrible customer service I spent over 40 minutes trying to contact Sterling Honda regarding my airbag recall. You can't call the dealership, so I chatted online and was given I spent over 40 minutes trying to contact Sterling Honda regarding my airbag recall. You can't call the dealership, so I chatted online and was given a website to book my appointment. 30 minutes later, after filling in the form clearly stating that the appt was for a replacement airbag, I try to figure out their calendar. I just kept hitting dates until finally a date and time came up. The time was 1130 May 10th. I booked it on May 03. My husband and I rearrange our schedules to drop the car off at the dealership. When we arrive, my husband goes in and is told they don't have the part. When he questioned why no one called us. The answer was, "I don't know how that happened". I tried to contact the dealership to complain but there is absolutely no way to do so. Not happy at all. Deplorable customer service. More

Great Service! I've had my vehicles serviced at this dealership since '99 (even when they were located on King St. West) and I've never had any major issues here. Awful My breaks were making an awful sound stopped in here on my way back to my home ( Not my normal dealership) told I needed full break job done on a 2 ye My breaks were making an awful sound stopped in here on my way back to my home ( Not my normal dealership) told I needed full break job done on a 2 year old car when asked if this was covered under my extended warranty I was told no, when asked if I could drive to my normal dealership was told it was not safe. Break job done with a massive bill to show for it!! Come to find out from my normal dealership that it should have been covered under warranty!!! When called sterling they said no it shouldn't be!! Will never go to sterling again!! More

Friendly and modern, but beware of upsells/wrong information Unfortunately I've had to downgrade my review - The dealership and general experience is great - but I've received 3 pieces of wrong information over Unfortunately I've had to downgrade my review - The dealership and general experience is great - but I've received 3 pieces of wrong information over the past year which makes me doubt the knowledge of the staff: First: I was told 16 inch rims would NOT fit my honda. Bottom line: I tested, they fit. With over an INCH of clearance. I'm assuming (hopefully falsely) that they do this as 17 inch winter rims and tires cost significantly more. Go Elsewhere for your tires. I went to Travale Tire on wentworth. Second: I was told I had to change my Manual transmission fluid (MTF) during EVERY oil change. I called BS on that one, and then the second opinion at the same dealership just said "whenever maintenance minder tells you to" Thing is... there is NO CODE for MTF replacement. I still don't have a believable answer for this, so I'll be doing it every 100k or 3 years, which is what I did with my 5 speed mazda3. Third: I was told that installing a bug deflector was a 30 minute ordeal involving 6 or so screws that clamp onto the hood, and was reversible to remove the bug deflector. I got it home, It was missing all instructions. I drove back to get the instructions. I brought it home again, and read the instructions. It requires drilling holes in the hood. Sanding, and repainting parts of the hood. Thankfully they were good about taking the parts back and giving me all my money back. I won't hesitate to purchase genuine honda parts from them again, but I'll make sure I know absolutely what i'm getting first! Overall, Its still an enjoyable experience - It just worries me about what maintenance/service they are selling to people who trust them to do honest, REQUIRED work to their cars. Proceed with caution, and get a second opinion, which is always sound advice when putting your hard earned money on the table. More
