Never again Steele Ford. In Sep 2025 I leased a new F150 Lightning: * I picked the model, color, etc. and submit the initial paperwork. A few hours later, the sales person c In Sep 2025 I leased a new F150 Lightning: * I picked the model, color, etc. and submit the initial paperwork. A few hours later, the sales person contacts us, saying they submitted the paperwork with the wrong model (dark grey instead of black, all else same). They offered a small discount if we were to accept the gray * I noticed the "we can share your data with marketing partners" part pre-checked on the lease paperwork e-sign document (impossible to uncheck). When I told the finance manager I did not want this he said he will fix it afterwards. He did not and I got marketing spam calls/emails from the dealership and SiriusXM * I had the maintenance plan FMPP (tire changes, fluids, wipers, etc) on my ICE F150 and wanted it for the Lightning as well. The finance manager did not tell us that the coverage changed and no longer includes tire changes. We were charged when having winter tires put on, but never for the ICE F150 before. * The finance manager put the wrong weight on the registration paperwork. The Access Nova Scotia clerk caught it when they asked "This is a regular pickup truck, right, not a semi or anything like that?" The weight entered by the finance manager would have required a commercial drivers license and vastly increased the plate cost. There was a promo for a free level 2 charger and install. Estimated time according to the dealership was about a month. * 5 minutes after driving off the lot, the sales rep called, asking if I wanted the charger or a discount since they did not put in their paperwork at all. I confirmed the charger. * After 2 months of not hearing anything I called the dealership and the manager said he'd check and call me right back. He did not and I called back two days later. His response: We submitted everything fine, you should hear from Ford Canada soon. I asked about contact info for Ford Canada to check on the delay and he said there is no consumer line for this. I eventually found one and Ford Canada had no records of the promo being requested / started by the dealership. * We went to the dealership asking about reimbursement for fast charger costs. The manager reluctantly agreed, saying he'd call the next day. He never called, we never got reimbursed. * Lastly, turns out the "free install" is limited to $1600 for parts and labor The vehicle is great but I'll never get anything from Steele Ford again. This was the absolute worst customer experience ever. Broken promises and outright lies from start to finish. More
From start to finish this was an incredible experience with top notch service. To be honest, when I walked into this dealership I really didnt expect to make a purchase but our sales associate "Bhavneet" with top notch service. Our entire experience was terrific, they're customer service and attention to our needs was excellent throughout the process. Everyone we spoke with was attentive and friendly from the receptionist to the finance person. Our interactions with Morgan Seward however were first class, she was willing to do whatever was necessary to make our recent purchase as easy as possible and we will be happy to send friends and family in her direction.
