Unorganized chaos This place has terrible work-related communication between coworkers. You provide them with information over the phone and they make you repeat it all This place has terrible work-related communication between coworkers. You provide them with information over the phone and they make you repeat it all once you're there. To make it worse, when they asked me for a phone number I said "it's on file, starts with 905, nothing else has changed." The woman then went on to loudly read my phone number and address out loud for the whole shop to hear- for me, and other women, this is a safety risk! It's my privacy and I expect it to be respected. To make your appointment just the most intolerable experience you can handle, the employees wander within ear shot into small groups to discuss how drunk they're going to get at this year's Christmas party and the stories from their weekend antics. Parts Went to this dealer twice to find parts for my Infiniti. The parts person was incredibly incompetent. He could not help me unless I gave him the VIN. Went to this dealer twice to find parts for my Infiniti. The parts person was incredibly incompetent. He could not help me unless I gave him the VIN. I have worked as a technician in several dealerships in my life and have never met a parts person quite this bad. I was looking for a "rear license plate light mounting bracket"...he could not understand the concept. I had to coach him through his computer to find the part. I could have given him the part number but I wanted to make sure the # was up to date. I went to another dealer online and ordered the part. The parts department is totally incompetent. Previously I tried to get one lug nut for the same Infiniti...He needed the VIN. I could not believe it! More

Won't stop calling my house to sell me a vehicle I brought my Murrano to Collins Nissan in the fall for an oil change/general maintenance. The service was done. No issues about the service. Since I brought my Murrano to Collins Nissan in the fall for an oil change/general maintenance. The service was done. No issues about the service. Since then, I have received junk mail, emails, and many, many phone calls trying to get me to trade in and purchase another Nissan. I am really sick of being bothered/emailed/targeted with cheesy "personal message" style letters/phone calls by this company. I have been to this dealership ONCE for service, and have had nothing but a barrage of advertising. I have asked those who call (not actually from Collins as they have outsourced this service) to please stop calling. Five times now I have made this request, each time being told that it will be done. They obviously have no control over the company they have hired to do their advertising. I had no issues with the service, and I can't speak about their sales team having no experience with them, but if you go for service, prepare to dedicate time to dealing with the none stop, targeted advertising. I will be in need of a new vehicle soon, but I can't see myself going here. More

I stopped into the Nissan dealership at Niagara Falls, ON and after confirming that the bearing needed replacing, they refused to fix it and referred me to the nearest Canadian Tire. They too refused to replace the bearing, which left us with no alternative but to limp the vehicle to Toronto and abandon the rest of our vacation plans. As a last resort, I googled the next nearest Nissan Dealership and, as luck would have it, came across Collins. Despite it being 4:00pm on a Friday, the Receptionist assured me that they would not leave me stranded and took full charge of the situation by confirming that the part(s) were available and finding a mechanic to do the job. From the moment we pulled up to the service entrance, to some final words of wisdom from the Mechanic, the experience could not have been better. Due to my 30 year Military Career, I have resided in several Canada cities and never before have I been so impressed with a dealership - Thanks Collins! More
Left stranded A few weeks ago, my 2012 Nissan Versa would not start after a day of sitting in the parking lot of my office. I called Nissan's 24 hour Roadside Assis A few weeks ago, my 2012 Nissan Versa would not start after a day of sitting in the parking lot of my office. I called Nissan's 24 hour Roadside Assistance program, who were helpful enough, sending a tow truck to bring my car to the closest dealership for service. The helpfulness ended there. I was left in the parking lot after being told the service centre was closed, not Collins Nissan's fault, I know. It turned out the service centre was open, which I found out when I called Roadside Assistance back and was patched through to the dealership. At this point, Collins took over and I couldn't have been more disappointed with the solutions I was offered. I commute to work from Hamilton, so when my car broke down, I was left in a parking lot in a city that is 45 minutes from where I live. When I explained this to Collins Nissan, the only solution I was offered was an apology. They did not have a vehicle they could loan me nor would they assist me in renting a vehicle to get me home. I was able to find overnight accommodation with family in the city, which was not an ideal solution. For all Collins knew, I was left in a parking lot with nowhere to go and no way to get anywhere. The next day I was "reassured" that the malfunction was covered under warranty and that it would not cost me anything out of pocket to have repaired. Not the case, as my vehicle still wouldn't be repaired until the next day, leaving me stranded for another night away from home. Collins Nissan did not even attempt to help me find a solution to get me home. Again, I was offered an apology followed by "but it's just our policy." I also emailed the dealership, attn: general manager and service manager, and did not receive a response or even acknowledgement of my email. Based on Collins Nissan's "policy" of leaving customers stranded in parking lots, away from home, and not responding to concerns, I will not be bringing my vehicle back to be serviced. More
