I checked my oil, it's super black. all the engines I own my oil is still clear and clean after a 500km check. so you changed my oil? and last but not least they said they had to replace a belt. I purchased this car from them about 6 months ago. so obviously they let the car go out the door like it. didn't return the old belt I have no proof that it was changed. I will never purchase another vehicle from them again. I"m due for a new truck but i won't be going back there. I will never recommend to purchase or service a vehicle to anyone I speak with. My sale guy that sold me my car was a very nice guy so you get 1 star. unfortunately your service department has me wondering if you just took me for a 500 dollar ride and left me with dirty oil and possibly containment ed fuel system. More
Update to April 12th review My wife’s car has been there since March 30th. Still no loaner and still being told to rent one at a special rate of $35 a day. xxx is that??. I feel sorry for the girls who answer the phone and take the crap because of others not doing their job. I feel sorry anyone who goes there after reading these warnings. More

Service staff less than helpful!! I had a less than impressive visit with the service department. The piece of glass between my windshield and sunroof cracked, so I brought it to Spruc I had a less than impressive visit with the service department. The piece of glass between my windshield and sunroof cracked, so I brought it to Spruce Grove Hyundai to have them look at. No sign of impact so it should have been replaced under warranty. I was told they would not cover it without anyone even looking at it. One service writer would not even get out from behind her desk to come and look, she just told me it was obviously hit by a rock and that caused the crack. I told her I would have heard it or found an impact spot. She told me there was no way it could do that on it's own, it was hit. Apparently she hasn't heard of any of the news reports regarding sunroof glass breaking for no reason. I asked the manager to have a look at it and give me his opinion. He came out and pointed at the bug splatters on my windshield (not rock chips, I only have 1), told me that my windshield has been hit many times by rocks and there was no way that piece of glass would be covered as it was obviously hit by rocks. I told him to show me where it was hit, but he couldn't. All he said was in the 4 years he's worked with Hyundai he's never seen a piece of glass covered under warranty. I don't think he's actually even tried. I told him that I would find another Hyundai dealer to work with and he just shrugged his shoulders and said bye. I called River City Hyundai, and I was told they would cover that piece without even seeing my car. The service manager there was very helpful, and willing to at least try to help me. Spruce Grove Hyundai was not. I had to go all the way across the city but River City Hyundai treated me great and covered that piece of glass under warranty with no problems at all. I will not go back to Spruce Grove Hyundai, even though I prefer to keep my business local as I live west of Stony Plain. I will drive to the other side of Edmonton and give River City my business. 1 star only because it's a requirement, I would have preferred zero. More
Sales staff great - finance department TERRIBLE Sales staff was superb. Zero complaints there. However their financing department was a mess. First off they hounded me to come in to get the final paper work finished (my co-signer was from out of town, so we needed to arrange a date for her to come in) - yet when we arranged an appointment after incessant calls ect. The finance guy was late, and we sat around for a good hour. Then he messed up the paper work, my co-signer ended up being the principal buyer in the eyes of the bank. So all the paper work needed to be resigned - this of course was after my co-signer had left to return home. On top of all of that, the process was not explained. I tried to register the vehicle only to find out another signed document was required to do so. Something that should have been told to us during the initial process. Decent prices, great sales staff, but the debacle with the finance department means i will never recommend anyone go here. More

We were told warranty might not cover the repair as they only reference service records not root cause. The vehicle has 65,000 k with I guess a useless 100000 k warranty. They have had the vehicle for 2 weeks and we are no closer to resolving this then day 1. I have phoned, left messages, emailed and rarely get to speak to someone just to be told there is no update. Worst communication ever. This was my wife’s 4th Hyundia and it will be her or anyone in my family’s last. More

The no added costs is a fiction as they tacked on a $599 theft insurance from FCPP in Sherwood Park, told us it was non negotiable. I called the insurance company and found out it was voluntary and the dealership would refund the money. Well we are still waiting for the refund, been over a week. More

My wife just came home shaking and in tears after being laughed at by their service manager Jeff and kicked out and told never to come back by their Sales manager Scott. She has had nothing but problems with this piece of garbage Dodge Journey they pressured her into purchasing two years ago. It has literally NEVER run right and they could care less. Over the two years this thing has had repair after repair at Spruce Grove Hyundai/go auto all without solving the issues shes experienced from the start. Granted the dealership ate a lot of those repair costs but the bottom line is this Journey should never have been cleared for resale in the first place. We'd just given up on this dealership and wanted nothing to do with them after the last round of repairs but the Journey's engine light started coming on recently and beeping and the vehicle would start shaking so we felt we should bring it in again...foolishly thinking they'd do the right thing and fix the problem, or even better get us into something half decent after the xxxx this "deal" and piece of junk Journey has put her through. So she brought it in asking them to repair the issue. They changed the spark plugs and a gasket and changed the oil and called it fixed. $600 later she drove it home, 6 km, and the engine light came on again, beeping and shaking. She brought it back to them and they now found there was a faulty injector that needed to be replaced...for another $600 plus a $100 inspection fee! Why didnt they find that 2 days previous when it was in for the same issue?! Why did they just replace the spark plugs? The place is a joke. They just want your money, period. They had the opportunity to just do the right thing and get her into a half decent ride but would rather treat her like garbage and kick her out of the place when she gets upset about being charged another $600 just 2 days after she just spent $600 to get the same issue fixed! All of our family and friends will be warned about this place. Those involved could've just done the right thing, admitted they screwed up and put her in something else. Oh! they also charged her basically 4 times what this piece of **** is worth. Lessons learned... and Scott, curious if you'd pick on a woman if her husband was there. More
