Looking at the Saturday schedule there was 6 schedule waiting appointments (this being people from out of town that were out shopping or waiting at the dealership) between 10am and noon. By changing your appointment to waiting you would be the 7th and go into that time queue after the 6th appointment. When we are scheduling days in advance we determine by computer and by people the flow of work entering the shop,so our appointment staff asks very specific questions to help determine the time. We will always do our best to accommodate a change to someone's appointments as best we can, as we know things change. I am sorry it took longer than expected.

HI Brenda, We have talked to the machine shop that your engine was sent out to. Ron there said that the screen under the high pressure pump was plugged, that screen is designed to catch debris moving through the oil system. When the head gaskets were done in August that screen was replaced with a new updated version as part of the oil cooler kit. After further discussion with Ron (at the machine shop) we agree that the metal came from the lower part of the engine ,the piston wrist pin contacted the cylinder wall and the metal from that collect in the screen. We have already discounted the labor $896.00 we will take an additional $500.00 off for you for a total of $1396.00 Please let us know if this works for you.

Sorry ,but we have not changed our story. The damage is from the bottom end of the engine and had nothing to do with head gasket replacement. The wrist pin moved out and contacted the cylinder wall and the piston cracked as a result. The parts tell the story of what happened. The screen is replaced as part of the cooler assemble and must be replaced as it is an updated part. And we there are 3 parts damaged from shipping, the dip stick tube and 2 smaller tubes, these parts will be added to the final invoice as well, they must be put on the engine before it can be fired up.

Did you look at the piston with the burn hole in the bottom that Ron sent back on the pallet with the motor? Now you tell me you replaced the screens as part of the oil cooler kit, but you told me you were not in there and only replaced the gasket, so which is it now the story changed, very disappointed! So even if it was the fault of Ford you blame the customer. The wrist pin did not walk out it may have contacted the cylinder wall but this happened because of a hole burnt in the bottom of the piston as the screens were dirty but now you say you replaced them.????You should refund the money from the original job to help pay for the job having to be redone, horrible service, no vehicle since Sept 23.

You said you did nothing but the head gasket and good you changed a part that needed to be changed but if you changed the screens why deny it earlier, makes no sense. The other thing that makes no sense is you said the dip stick was cracked in the middle like you had never seen before Aaron? Also it has been discussed and you told me it would have to be replaced and so it would be included in the original quote, now you are just reordering something you told me not to worry about. I am hoping that David Ny has called Ron at Lordco by now. I spoke to Ron on Saturday morning and again today. So yesterday you said you were aiming for today to be done and now you are ordering parts that I thought were already ordered, so when now?

Dealing with issues before I have to ask multiple times get frustrated and leave would of helped from the start Yes I still have transmission issues as well as other issues. Would of bought a set of new tires from you guys a month ago of I had good service and didn't have so many issues or partial jobs done (example the partially washed and vacuumed truck I paid 15 bucks to have done Just a side note I have been seeing a lot of people complaining about skaha ford service on facebook and everyone seems to agree it is poor service at best but don't relate poor service to other dealerships in penticton

None of the issues are new Transmission bumps from gear to gear Starter sticks or is weak after refueling Caliper that you guys have "serviced" twice this year still sticks And I would like to see you guys try wash it and vacuum it again I would need a timeline of when you could do all these jobs properly and how you plan to fix these problems I will not approve any non warranty work either Untill you guys prove to me that you are capable of servicing my truck efficiently and correctly You guys have had many chances to fix these problems and I'm always left taking the tech for a drive Wich in my opinion is wrong. I bring the truck in so I dont have to worry about it
