Unfortunately we cannot give this dealership anywhere near a 5 star rating. We bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler Altitude with a 3” lift, 35” tires, and a winch. We decided to test out the new unit (with near a 5 star rating. We bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler Altitude with a 3” lift, 35” tires, and a winch. We decided to test out the new unit (with 3,000kms on it) down a gravel logging road with minimal snow. We ended up getting stuck on a piece of icy road, and went to use the 4WD. The 4WD didn’t work, so we then decided to use the winch line which we tied to a tree. The winch line snapped after a few minutes of use which makes us wonder what the rating on the line was. We tried to drive out once again as we were out of options, but then the high temperature light appeared, so we shut the unit down to cool off for half an hour. Miraculously, upon starting it up again the 4WD kicked in and we were out in 30 seconds. A week later while driving in the city we noticed a clunking noise coming from under the vehicle, so we took it into Sherwood Dodge to troubleshoot the issue. We were told by the service manager very arrogantly that the rear differential and transfer case were gone as a result of abuse to the vehicle; therefore, all warranty was voided. The total bill for the fix was quoted at $10,200. We understand that if we took a city rated vehicle on a logging road that we should pay for the repairs, BUT we purchased an $85,000 vehicle that was advertised to use in the backcountry. This unit has not even seen mud; just a small amount of snow and ice. We got a second option from a mechanic, and he stated that the drive train was likely not adequate, and should have been taken into consideration prior to the vehicle leaving the dealership brand new with all the upgrades. Sherwood Jeep has not provided any assistance in regards to resolving this issue; legal advice on the matter is the next step. More

Took my Wrangler in for a Technical Service Bulletin. A code PO306 which was a Misfire on cylinder number 6 (extended Warranty) they wanted to find and charge me for all kinds of things that had nothing A code PO306 which was a Misfire on cylinder number 6 (extended Warranty) they wanted to find and charge me for all kinds of things that had nothing to do with the problem including a camshaft for 635.00 which i paid for like an idiot and then they wanted to charge me 1343.58 for a vacuum pump which again had nothing to do with the misfire of cylinder 6. They had the jeep for 13 days and still could not find the problem. I had enough of their BS and took it to my regular Mechanic at Alta Muffler who found the problem in 15 minutes. And they didn't charge me anything. I wouldn't take my bicycle to Sherwood Dodge for servicing. More

Very poor company, buy somewhere else If possible and avoid. Then they ghosted. If I could, I would lower the rating less than one for that. ***UPDATE #2* I was once again contacted by Sherwood Dodge (Mark), They had promised a gas card and oil change to rectify the issues. We set up a meeting, when I arrived for the meeting they were not around, I called them and they said they could no longer do what they said they would. It would have been nice to cancel the meeting instead of wasting my time driving to the dealership. Once again if I could lower it again I would. More

They gave me an awesome trade value, and I drove away with an awesome used truck. Sure I had minor issues, and they were looked after in a timely manner. I was treated very well and would not hesitate to return to this dealership, but for now, the vehicle I purchased is working just fine. I’ve never seen a used vehicle as detailed as this one was, awesome detailers.
