Hi Tailleur, With so many truck configurations, options and various ways of equipping a Super Duty, calculating the trucks loading and towing capabilities can be quite a daunting task, even for trained Ford product specialists. Towing capability will be reduced based on trim series, option content and payload of a particular equipped Super Duty. The towing guides on ford.fleet.com contain a LOT of information that can also be a challenge to read and understand. There's just so much to learn about Spec'ing a truck and ensuring the truck is capable of doing tough work. Even the labels on a truck door jamb can be hard to comprehend by the untrained eye without knowing some towing basics, terminology and math calculations.
