Purchase of a New 2018 F150 Truck The good: First impression when you arrive is positive. The building has a good layout. Sale individuals that I interacted with (Mo and Rahul) were gr The good: First impression when you arrive is positive. The building has a good layout. Sale individuals that I interacted with (Mo and Rahul) were great. Well spoken, if they didn't know something they would look for the information without making answers up. Following my order Mo kept me updated and answered all of my emails with updates on vehicle order status every 3-4 days. The bad: I was not able to work with the back room finance people. The rate was unfair, the options for vehicle services and preparation were unreasonably expensive. I ended up making arrangements at my bank to pay the complete loan of the vehicle. I also did not select any of their packages. Unreasonably priced, marked up by 400% or more. The day I took possession of the vehicle the car was poorly detailed. Inside there were spray marks of some liquid everywhere and the outside was dirty to the touch. Mo and Rahul offered to re-detail it, but at that point I had lost trust with the dealer and planned never to return. 4 weeks later I had to return as the lock of the glove compartment had not been installed. I found it in the center console. I chatted with Mo and Rahul at that point who did their very best to make it up to me. Thank you Mo and Rahul for your help. The service and the finance individuals can improve. More

Like any other buyer, I went to at least 5 different dealerships to shop around to find out the best deal. I don't like haggling around and I would prefer that dealerships be upfront with their best deals to save both (myself and dealership) time and effort. Here's what I liked with Sherwood Ford: Mr. Wally Denny - He was very professional, respectful to my needs/requirements, and outright gave me the best possible offer that I was looking for - in just our first meeting! There was no pressure to sign immediately! What I liked the most was when I decided to go into the dealership, he was very patient with all my questions and he even beat his first offer with a better deal (both price and upgrades)! Mr. Ali Bhojani - A very professional person to deal with. Finance discussions are very difficult to take in especially after all the discussions with sales. What I liked with Ali was how he simplified our discussion and made this otherwise boring part of the deal a very wonderful experience. We sincerely appreciated how he tried and helped us out with a good deal for the insurance for our new car. The extra effort was very sincere and natural and that made this whole discussion with finance a truly wonderful experience. Mr. Mike Henry - Mike helped us out with the technical aspects of the new Ford Ex that we bought. He's very professional and does his research when it comes to questions on specifications. He's very patient in explaining the details in order for you to truly enjoy your new car. Most of all, he's very honest with his answers - which I think is a rare quality in sales. I'm based in Edmonton and we have at least a couple of big dealerships here as well. But I would definitely advise buyers to take a look at Sherwood Ford and consider dealing with them first before they decide to purchase. It is worth the extra time and travel! More

He did not display the aggressive sales pressure that i've experienced unpleasantly in other vehicle dealerships. Rather i felt the sincerity and honesty of information that Mike presented which enabled me to feel very comfortable making the right decision. .Mike's familiarization discussion about the vehicles's features was clear and complete. The subsequent followup on the purchase was additionally unexpected. Though the time i spent completing the sale with Tyler was brief, the exchange was very agreeable. Upon arrival he checked the work history on my Ford Fusion to make sure that I was up to date on the scheduled maintenance requirements. I told him I would be waiting while my car was being serviced. I had the choice of enjoying the massage chair, watching sports on the TV,using the WiFi and enjoying a cup of coffee! The wait did not seem to be as long as I had anticipated when Curtis showed up with a smile and said that my vehicle was ready. He stayed with me as the paperwork was completed and then showed me where my car was parked. Maybe for some, good manners don't mean much but for me it is as important as driving a safe vehicle. More
