Then, I find eventually I need to sit down with a dealership sales rep, of which is not my most exciting list of things I like to do based on other dealership past experiences . However, Scott Subaru in Red Deer is the one exception that goes against the grain when it's time to get serious about a new Subaru. Adam Choi provided great one on one honest, zero pressure help in choosing the right vehicle for our needs. Adam drives a Subaru and definitely knows his stuff and is great for explaining all the new gadgets/options that the new models have available. I like to take my time with test drives when I'm looking at spending good money on another vehicle, being sure it is the right choice. Adam encouraged that. He even suggested places to go that would help satisfy some of the concerns I have (had) from my last new Toyota. It was important for me to have: well built and a long lasting unit that holds its' trade-in/resale value, good traction and handling in all weather, sufficient power, sufficient comfort for all passengers and cargo space, some new cool options, and for just once a vehicle that has no rattles at -30C. Ya, well, my test drive was done before closing; however I was well satisfied and ready to talk numbers. Yes, I stand corrected that there is at least one car dealership that has a great sales department. In the past I have had great experience with their parts/service department for the occasional part I need for my 2007 Subaru Imprezza that proves time and time again of making it through the snow. I'll be keeping it to the end as it would go places my 2007 Toyota Rav4 would never get through. The Subaru pulled the Toyota out of snow drifts more than once. I ended up unloading my Toyota Rav4 (Fake AWD) in a private sale and replaced it with a new Subaru Forester (True AWD) to provide a second reliable and fun transportation addition to our rural Alberta household. Thanks Adam for your help during the process that in my books is above expectations. As well your continued follow-up with how we are doing with our new Subaru. It's comforting to know that you are always open for any questions after you drive away off the lot; and are not just filed away as another sale made. I would not normally file a review; however this exception is worthy to pass onto other potential Subaru buyers. More

The sales and finance team (Ryan, Ryan, Carmen, and Ernesto) worked very hard to help me have grocery cart dents repaired in my car after my coverage had initially denied my case, going above and beyond what is normally experienced at a dealership. I recently had my sunroof replaced and the service department did a fantastic job. Josh was polite and answered my questions on the repair, and Jordan explained my bill in detail. When I showed up Kaydee was cleaning tape residue off my roof, which again I view as above and beyond. I always recommend this dealership to anyone who mentions wanting a new vehicle and will continue to do so, you cannot go wrong by choosing Scott Subaru. More

Excellent car-buying experience with many personal touches! When my lease was coming due, I was stressed. I knew what features I wanted in a car, but nothing fit the criteria on the market. While reading reports/press releases from various car shows, I discovered the 2017 impreza. Impressed that it hit all the boxes and was beautifully redesigned, I went to Scott Subaru to see my options. Although the Impreza wouldn't be built for several months (over half a year), I knew this was my car and this was the dealership I wanted to work with. Their staff is fabulous and answered my questions to the fullest. I received updates about my car (when it was built, put on a train, and even pictures when it arrived at the dealership). This was really special for me and eased my nerves about purchasing something so large, that I had not yet seen. I also received a courtesy vehicle closer to the date, which assisted tremendously with my day-to-day needs. I can't commend Scott Subaru enough! While waiting for my new vehicle, I began chatting with a person getting an oil change on their subaru. I was in disbelief; they lived north of Edmonton and were down for just an oil change! When I asked why, they simply said "it's like a family here". Though I've only had my car for a few days, I can say that it was well worth the wait and I'm so happy I went with a dealership that listened to my concerns, took the time to value me as a customer/personalize the experience and provided me with exceptional service.
