Does a car need headlight to be sold certified? I bought a used vehicle from them for my kids. We we picked it up and discovered later that day, this so called certified vehicle had no headlights o I bought a used vehicle from them for my kids. We we picked it up and discovered later that day, this so called certified vehicle had no headlights or daytime running lights which are mandatory in Ontario to certify a vehicle. The certification slip was signed off by a licensed mechanic to license the vehicle. So it had to go back to the dealer to be fixed. We also mentioned at the time the ignition key was difficult to turn on and off to the point you can't get the key out and have to turn the car on and off again. This required a second visit as it wasn't addressed the first time, the dealer checked this out and told me that this is how VW are and you have to push in to turn on and off and to get the key out. Seemed odd since I have owned many cars and the ignitions always have turned easily. I sent them articles and TSB's regarding this issue and the service adviser admitted to having had similar issue with the car. The resolution is a replacement cartridge that allows you to reuse exiting key and cost aprox $170. This will likely have to replace at my cost if it continues to get worse or one of my kids get stranded, as they see nothing wrong with it. Next I had to spend $50 on new wiper blades as the windshield wiper that were installed were incorrect for the vehicle. Lastly, discovered a they did a REALLY nice job hiding the fact it had a broken mirror case & frame, I must have forgotten my microscope and fine tooth comb when going over the vehicle cost $75 to replace. The sales person was good to deal with unfortunately he can't control what leaves the dealer. At the end of the day I just wanted a safe reliable car and chose a name brand dealer over no name corner dealer as I felt that they would be more trustworthy and stand behind what they sell. On a positive note they gave me a free oil change and a $100 gift card that can only be used the dealer lol. More

No words can describe the service Amanda provided me. I never had such great service in the auto industry or any industry period.
