Rose City Ford Sales

$200. 00 charge and warranty part not installed. I booked an appointment over three months ago. The person on the phone told me that part is covered und 00 charge and warranty part not installed. I booked an appointment over three months ago. The person on the phone told me that part is covered under extended warranty and there would be no charge. Transmissions is shuttering. Showed up for appointment and girl told me it's $175.00 plus taxes to look at car. Made it sound like the part would be changed so I agreed. Basically she gave me the impression if I didn't sign the paperwork then they wouldn't do anything. Then 1/2 hours later I called left a message to not do anything unless it's covered by warranty and no one called me until the pm saying my car was ready. Warranty part not installed but I was charged $200.00 for nothing...what a waste of time. I asked the girl where it notes on my paperwork what the test has to be in order to get the part replaced. She said it's on your paperwork, I asked where and she said again it's on your paperwork. Very poor customer service. Last Summer I brought my car in telling them I think the rear bearings may need replacing as I hear howling. They changed other parts total bill was $800 plus taxes and never fixed the issue. They told me it wasn't the rear bearings. I ended up brining my car to the local mechanic in my neighbour hood and they told me the left drivers side wheel bearing was shot, replaced it for $698.00. Problem was solved. I should have just brought it there first but I assumed Ford would be the better place, OMG, so wrong. I'll never return to this dealer again and never recommend the service department. I actually think that their mechanics get commission on parts as this is the second time they have changed items which didn't correct the problem. I asked the girl where my car is, she gave me the key and said in the back. When I walked to through the shop and out to the back to get my car I thought to my self, this is the last penny they'll take from me. Strange though, I watched this girl walk out to the back lot, drive the customers car around the building for the women in front of me but when It was my turn, she just handed me the key and I asked where is my car and said "it's in the back" Wow...OMG. now that's the Rose City Experience that I received...lol If I knew that the warranty part for my transmission would have not been changed I would have never agreed to the $175.00 service charge to drive my car 9 kms just to say....it's bad...but not bad enough to change. I would have rather given my son the $175.00 for groceries. As the saying goes, sometimes you have to burn to learn but it's now the third time I've been burnt by the service department but now have learned the hard way. More

In the past I tried taking my car to another garage for service but ended up bringing it to Rose City to fix what the other guy did wrong.
