Never ending negative experience I was looking for a new or used vehicle to replace the Explorer I've had since 1999. While looking around on my own, I'm approached by Nazir and we di I was looking for a new or used vehicle to replace the Explorer I've had since 1999. While looking around on my own, I'm approached by Nazir and we discuss what I'm looking for. I'm mainly interested in a good, solid, dependable vehicle for a lot of highway driving to and from work each day. We even discuss my ceiling in terms of monthly payments. Nazir brings in another salesperson (in training) and I'm given "tours" of this and those parts of the dealership - and we hadn't even yet sat down to discuss numbers. It was premature to say the least. Fast forward to the three of us finally discussing the vehicle and money. Nazir shows me a history of what work River City has done to the vehicle to bring it to / keep it at code. Why show me something like this that clearly shows River City is padding the bill? Two different wheel alignments in 6 months? When I asked why, no one could answer me. Then Nazir presents me with numbers that are completely out-of-line, so far above my ceiling (that I'd clearly stated to him) that you'd need a telescope to see them. I walked away, and am very glad I did. And then the ridiculousness continued: phone calls from all sorts of individuals, including the sales manager, Joe, who "just wanted to talk," and promised no more phone calls. I'm still getting phone calls, the latest one from Darren - some team leader or manager - who wanted to know how my experience was. I told him to talk to Joe, the sales manager. I've changed my number to get away from the phone calls. More

Fake customer service at it's best! Or is it worst? Purchased a new car from River City Ford in Feb 2017, while doing the walk-around myself and the salesperson noticed a paint chip, this was documented Purchased a new car from River City Ford in Feb 2017, while doing the walk-around myself and the salesperson noticed a paint chip, this was documented (I still have the original document) and I was informed they would fix it at my convenience. I called their "service" line March 20th to see if I could do the 5k service and the paint work at the same time and was told there was no record of the paintwork issue, but they would get back to me ASAP after looking into it more. My car was about to roll over the 5k mark, so I brought it in June 24th for the 5k service and still hadn't heard back about the paint. I called the sales person and "service" again and finally got a text back Aug 3rd telling me that I can drop my car off for 2 days to have the work done, and hopefully my girlfriend can lend me her car to get around. So they sold me a car with a defect and while fixing it they won't even lend me a car? I told them this was unacceptable as the issue was with their product, not something I caused, and they should provide me a replacement car. On Aug 8th they texted me again to say they could do this and the body shop would be in touch to make an appointment with me. It's now Sept 11th and I still haven't heard back, so I left another message with the sales person. Wondering if a more public review will get the ball moving. Terrible customer service, not sure if all dealers are like this once they get your money, but River City Ford definitely haven't backed up all their claims about being the best in customer service. Just terrible. I checked just management names, because I can't leave it blank. More

Great Customer Service We recently purchased our third vehicle from River City Ford since 2014 and we couldn't be happier with our most recent experience. We took our 2014 Ford Fusion SE into the dealership and feel they gave us a fair trade in price towards our new vehicle. We were interested in a 2017 Ford Fusion SE Luxury package and there was one we were interest in at nearby partner dealership. They were able to bring it in for us to test drive for the next day. We really feel we were able to negotiate a fair and reasonable price and were really happy with the price we were able to settle on for extended warrenties and extras. Our sales associate Kirsten made sure we happy with the deal and Kelly, the floor manager had been one of our sales associates in the past and also made sure we were happy with our purchase. As it was a used vehicle they made sure it was completely serviced, full of gas and detailed before we picked it up. I would highly recommend this team. They are a young, energetic and eager to please team! More
