Fourth time and still isn't fixed So I have a 2013 Escape with the extended warranty and $100.00 deductible and for close to a year now I have taken the vehicle in repeatedly for trans So I have a 2013 Escape with the extended warranty and $100.00 deductible and for close to a year now I have taken the vehicle in repeatedly for transmission hard shifting issues 2nd to 3rd gear to your dealership for repairs, So Ford engineers and their wisdom decided not to install a dipstick in the transmission, the following day they call me up tell me that my vehicle is fixed and that I was just low on fluid, again because there is no longer a dipstick in the transmission its impossible for anyone but a service tech to check and when I arrive they have the nerve to charge me close to $150.00. So as I leave the transmission is still doing the same thing hard bang 2nd to 3rd, I turned around back to the dealership this time a Tech came for a ride and confirmed what I was telling him. the second time took it back a short time later left it with them and was told they would reprogram the transmission, after a few days I pick up the vehicle again and as I was leaving it was doing the same thing, went back again was told I need to put a minimum 500 Km on the vehicle so it can re-learn after close to 1500 km nothing had changed, was told to bring it back and on the third time they would change the valve body, went back picked up the vehicle and was told to put at least 1000km before I would notice a change, so after close to 2000km it is still the same and now going back a fourth time. I stop in back around the middle of April letting them know that nothing has changed and would be bringing the vehicle back but it wouldn't be till June as I was down to one car at the moment and was told that's fine. When I dropped off the vehicle around the middle of June I was told they most likely would have to replace the transmission and they would get back to me after looking at it, a few days later I get a call letting me know that my warranty had expired and I would have to pay for it. After speaking repeatedly with the service manager Derek Walker and explaining to him that the repair was never done right and I shouldn't have to pay, he said he would see what he could do and would contact the warranty company, after a couple of days he give me an attitude said no and I would have to pay for it myself. I understand there are protocols on how they do repairs but to keep putting a band aid on it and wasting my time knowing that there are service bulletins regarding transmission problems on Escapes is ridiculous, and now I'm stuck with a vehicle that is just not fun to drive anymore and is just sitting in storage. More

She called several times to verify with me the car issue I had mentioned (power steering leak) and that it was indeed a problem and that my extended warranty would be covering the repair. She then phoned again to identify that the tech (during my arranged oil change and transmission flush) found issues with the strut mounts and a tie rod and that those would also be covered under the extended warranty. She also then phoned to tell me that the car was fixed much sooner than originally planned and that she would then be able to arrange for the shuttle service to come and pick me up which was really nice. Overall I’m very happy with the work and the calm non-agressive approach and help that Ana provided. Thank you very much Ana! You also have a great sense of humour :) More

I didn't need her attuide I am already here problem that hasn't been resolved my 3 Rd visit anyone wouldn't be impressed but to get such treatment and disrespect and be a customer for about 3 years!
