After purchase I suggest using other companies to service your car if you made the mistake of buying from them. The customer service reps that make your appointment are extremely nice and appear to be wonderfully helpful on the phone but once you show up to your appointment the issues begin. My car is still under warranty and I started going to the service department with my regular oil changes. Absolutely every time I have gone in there I have left unsatisfied. An oil change takes them min. 45 minutes usually an hour for an oil change only (normal for a dealership) but now costs the same as the drive through oil changers (there used to be some savings going to the dealer). I asked the service man what benefit there was to using the dealership for a regular oil change if they cost just as much and take 2x as long. The answer provided was that the dealerships were the only ones who use the original oil filter, which is the best product to use. That is a lie.... The drive through oil changer I go to uses the actual Hyundai Filter. I had a tire go flat in August. They replaced the tire but did not perform an alignment or check for further damage even when I told them I hit a curb quite hard. My car could have been unsafe for diving and all they did was change the tire and give me back the keys. Pretty scary! When I left the lot my car was pulling badly to one side. I called and asked did they forget to do the alignment and check the rest of the wheel for damage. They apologized and I had to make another appointment, taking more time off work. I asked if I could get a discount for the frustration of having to come in for a second appointment, they would not even give me $5 off... The same tire that went flat on me in August went flat on me again on Friday (I have only had 2 flat tires my entire life of driving just in case you were wondering). I thought I had a 1 year warranty on the material cost of the new tire. Nope, I have to pay full pop to replace a 6 month old tire. I requested if they could have the tire ready for my appointment the next day, they said come on in and we will get you fixed up. Which was not a real answer, I feel it's my fault for not making absolutely certain they were going to go order the tire right then and there... I called in the morning before my appointment and they had not ordered the tire and had no record of the tire I had purchased just a few months prior. There was record of my bill but they did not make record of the tire type on the bill. They wanted me to wait 3 days for the tire to come in. My doughnut was not installed well by the roadside assistance and I did not feel comfortable driving on it any more than absolutely necessary. I happily went to a local canadian auto and tire company. for only $8 I have a 5 year warranty on my new tires, even if they are punctured. I just went in without an appointment and was out an hour later. More

Part of my purchase agreement was that I would receive free lifetime oil changes with regular service and maintenance at this Hyundai location. For 5 years I have been a loyal customer here and now that we have a growing family I have been hoping to buy a bigger vehicle and was planning on purchasing from here when we are ready. At our latest service appointment we we're told that the new owners decided not to honnor the free oil changes after 5 years even though it states free lifetime oil changes on my bill of sale! I will not only be taking my business elsewhere but will also be purchasing a new family vehicle that will not be a Hyundai! They not only lost a loyal and happy customer, Hyundai lost any and all future car sales from our family. This is not a good way to do business and although I love my car, I refuse to support a company that treats customers like that. I reccomend going elsewhere if you are looking for a positive experience buying or servicing a vehicle. More
I've been here on numerous occasions for different issues and each visit is followed by the same thing..... a return visit because the issue was not dealt with. Finally, I've given up on them. I am so surprised that a company like this is still in business. The service department has the concept of "The customer is a pain" to levels I have never seen before. The initial estimate was 2 weeks. At the 3 week mark I was advised that there was a part on back-order and it would now be 5 weeks. At the 5 week mark the part came in and they then told me that they could begin working on the vehicle. When I asked why they did not do all of the other work while they waited for the part the girl actually laughed at me and made the comment "you are obviously not familiar with the auto service industry". They estimated it would take a week to do the work bringing the total to 6 weeks. 10 days later I was told by my insurance company (not the repair shop) that a completely new part was now on back-order and it would be another 6 weeks bringing the total to 14 weeks. Of course my rental was now going to go in excess of the allowed and no one could care less - too bad. All I can do is tell my story and hope that others do not get burnt by this absolutely awful experience. More

I lost a deposit because of their shady dealing. The sales person although friendly was sleazy and agreed verbally to specific requests, but lied afterwards. Not only did the management back this guy up, they promote this type of behavior and it is encouraged. The owner was always out of the country and at no time could I get a hold of him. Always out of the country is the common excuse. Hyundai Canada when approached basically said that all they do is give them a sign. They don't interfere on how the dealership conducts business. So the brand is bad. Keep away from Rexdale Hyundai and any other Hyundai dealership. They lie in order to get your business. They also do not understand what goodwill is nor customer service or word of mouth. Perhaps it's out of the country. More

However , when I recently explored possibly buying a new car, the sales staff, particularly the sales manager and business manager were very high pressure and did not listen to my concerns. When I decided not to buy a car they wouldn't refund my deposit of $1000.00 unless I took two hours to come into the dealership. No-one other than the receptionist would return my calls--including the dealership owner Nav Bhatia. This has been a really really bad experience --I would NEVER buy a car here-- and it has put me off Hyundai products. They took a satisfied customer and have totally turned me off! In the past I would gladly have recommended them--but now advise anyone to stay away unless they like high pressure disrepectful service--along with withholding your money if you are silly enough to give them a deposit! Unfortunately this has affected my high regard for the work you do--and have done over the years. More
