Rust/Corrosion warranty useless Our initial purchase of a 2014 RVR at RD Mitsubishi was the worst sales experience ever and then four years later our car developed a rust/corrosion i Our initial purchase of a 2014 RVR at RD Mitsubishi was the worst sales experience ever and then four years later our car developed a rust/corrosion issue on the hatchback above the license plate that has continued to get larger. Before our 5 year comprehensive warranty was up we took the car in for servicing and had photos taken of the rusting. At that time we were told the photos would be sent away for examination and that we would hear back shortly as to what could be done to fix the issue. We heard absolutely nothing so on the next service visit four months later we went through the exact same process but this time the 5 year bumper to bumper warranty had expired. After not hearing back again from the service advisor I finally phoned to inquire as to the status of our issue. I was told that they would look into it and call back. When the call finally came we were told that there is nothing Mitsubishi can do for us as, even though it is common for rust to develop in the area above the plate, the warranty would only cover corrosion in a larger body panel. Not much of a warranty then!!! We are very very disappointed- we regularly wash our vehicles, keep them clean all round, and follow the regular service schedule 100%. We have owned several vehicles/ brands over 30 plus years with no corrosion issues at all even at 10 years old. Our RVR was our first experience with Mitsubishi and while the service staff have been friendly and easy to deal with until this point, we don’t see ourselves ever buying another Mitsubishi again or being able to recommend the product to others. Ive been lied to about who the GM was! I was told I was Talking to the general manager turns out I was Talking To The Internet sales manager..... Not surprised tho Reason they dont want to give My deposit back is because its been to long...... Ive been asking for it back less then two weeks after I put it down! If timing is a thing MAYBE call your customers back in a timely manner!!! More

Horrible We had an amazing sales person at Red Deer Mitsubishi and she would have a 5-star rating and would go back to her but upon day 2 of our new vehicle we We had an amazing sales person at Red Deer Mitsubishi and she would have a 5-star rating and would go back to her but upon day 2 of our new vehicle we received a phone call from her telling us that we don't get the winter tires that we thought were part of our deal. Even our sales person was confused because when she discussed the deal with her general manager she thought the tires were part of the deal. The finance person and manager failed to mention to us that with the deal we had we didn't get the winter tires. Without asking us they took the cost of the winter tires and reduced the purchase cost of the vehicle by what the winter tire package was worth. We live in Alberta we need winter tires and them doing this without telling us has huge impact on us financially as well as getting around. Winter tires are a necessity on the roads that we travel on. On a regular basis we are on very icy snow-covered rural roads that are not major highways or roads. All we were told by finance that the cash rebates weren’t included in the deal our sales person told us that we were to receive the winter tires they were even included on the delivery letter stating that they would be delivered to us on the Monday following our purchase as well as there is advertising all over the dealership saying free of charge winter tire package with the purchase of a new vehicle and since we weren’t told otherwise we assumed we still received them. We are beyond frustrated and feel like we have been cheated out of our money. We have no intention of ever returning to Red Deer Mitsubishi and I recommend those that do really pay attention to everything and don't just skim through the details really read it and maybe consider having someone familiar with contracts to really go through the paper work with a fine-tooth comb before you sign a thing. As our first brand new car as a new couple we were excited and happy about this purchase, now we are so upset that we don’t even want the car anymore and regret the purchase. More

Used to be good. Ridiculous charges now Always got our oil changes and maintenance done here and was always treated good as it’s a 2017. Switched over the winters ourselves, but went in to get the sensors calibrated. They wanted $29.99. They have never once charged me before. The lady said it was because they have a new service manager. Hope they know the new service manager just cost them all our business. It takes 5 mins to calibrate the tire sensors. Worth it to keep all our business, don’t you think? Won’t be going back to their service at all. More
