Worst service department treatment I have seen in 40 yrs I drove my friend to pick up his car that was there overnight, for an alternator and battery replacement. The service advisor, was the most confrontational customer service employee I have ever encountered in any industry. We wanted to know the breakdown of the charges, how much for this, that, and the other. She would only give us a bit of info verbally, no printout. She said we were rude, (she was rude), for asking basic questions that any consumer would ask, like "how did you arrive at this price?". She said that she was going to give a discount, but now she wasn't because we pissed her off. The car owner said to her that this was completely untrue, as he had pleaded for a break in the price when he had brought the car in the day before, and she had firmly said no. So, I suppose, through the night, she had decided to change her mind and give him a discount, and then changed her mind back to "no" again? Yeah, right. Then she threatened him with not finishing the car for that day, so he wouldn't be able to get to work in the morning. It was basically, "sit down, shut up, be a good little boy, don't argue, don't ask questions, or we'll leave your car up on the hoist and go home". She was blackmailing him to accept the bill, or he wouldn't get his car back that day. The bill was $1616 for an alternator and battery for an ordinary American family sedan. The bill just quotes 5.5 hours labour, with no breakdown of how they could arrive at that many hours for a simple task. I had the alternator on my car replaced last year for one hour labour. Different car, I realize, but grounds for asking questions, don't you think? P.S. I spent 12 years in the car business, and was a sales manager of a car dealership, years ago, before I switched careers, so I have a little bit of experience with car dealerships. Some people are not cut out for dealing with the public. P.P.S. After charging $660 in labour, the mechanic didn't put back on a radiator hose clamp. If my friend hadn't checked the car out, and fixed it himself, the rad hose would have blown off on the way to work the next morning. Just so you know, Raceway charged $592 for the alternator, whereas i got my alternator for my BMW at a parts warehouse in Mississauga for $122. Just sayin' More

We managed to get prompt service even though it seemed to be a busy day. We were greeted by our sales rep Amgad Attia, who took his time with us, managed to field all our questions, and none the less we kept him there after store hours that night. we decided to purchase a 2016 Jeep Wrangler that night, and once all was said, and done, he followed up with us a few times after the purchase to see if we were still happy. Once again, not much for reviews, but the experience was great enough, that we came back a week later, and purchased a second vehicle, this time the Jeep Renegade. would also like to say that our experience with Jim in the finance department was great as well, Thanks Jim Mallinos for being a respectable person (5 stars for you too), and thanks to Amgad for his time, and patience. More

No respect for people's time Worst service experience of my life in and outside Canada. Gave my car keys at 10:20 am for the inspection of my car for the leak after taking 10:30 a Worst service experience of my life in and outside Canada. Gave my car keys at 10:20 am for the inspection of my car for the leak after taking 10:30 am appointment one week in advance. Waited for 1 hour 50 mins and car was still parked outside. After 2 hours of wait I got frustrated and took my car back without being touched or serviced or inspected. There were only excuses and no apology. I was told that they were overloaded by the associate who gave my car back. When I booked my car and took the appointment they behaved so professional over the phone and gave me 10:30 am appointment saying that it was the only slot available for that day and as if they were so particular about the appointment time given. I was told that the inspection of the car takes 45 mins to 1 hour. After waiting for almost 2 hours they had audacity to tell me that if I would wait for 10 more mins my car will be inspected. Which means I had to sit there for another hour of I had not taken my car back. I drove from Milton to Rexdale after dropping my son at school at 9 am and left from Raceway service centre at 12:20 to pick my son from school after not even getting my car checked by those morons. They chewed my 2 hours plus another 2 hours of drive time. They don't know the meaning of giving an appointment and treat you like Canada hospital emergency walk in where they will make you wait for 4-5 hours even though you have already booked in a slot with them. Don't trust them with appointments. And respect your time. While booking you they behave like bloody professionals who follow the appointment book and care n respect clients time. There was an old gentleman walking about the place for 2 hours like me and looked so angry for the same reason and told me that his car is also not taken in after waiting for 2 hours. More
