Went in for recall work. Found the lady at the service reception quite rude and took her a few minutes to even acknowledge me despite standing in front of her and not current Found the lady at the service reception quite rude and took her a few minutes to even acknowledge me despite standing in front of her and not currently assisting any other clients. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I noticed a dent, scratch, and paint chip on my hood that was not previously there. I advised the lady at the service desk who came to look. Again, she was very rude about the entire situation. She said she could assure me that it did not happen at the dealership and that it was old claiming there was rust in the chip. It was very clear that this was fresh as the paint was flaking and there was no rust whatsoever. I asked her if they have cameras in the service bays to prove it did not happen at the dealership. She went inside to bring out another advisor by the name of Ron. Ron looked and confirmed that it was definitely fresh and certainly no rust. He was friendly and apologized on behalf of the other service advisor and explained that he would speak to her as that is not how we treat customers or do business at Plaza Nissan. Ron advised me that they would likely be taking responsibility for the damage but would have the service manager call me back to confirm and arrange a time to bring the vehicle back later in the week. By Wednesday July 9th, I still had not heard back so I called. There was no answer in the service department so I left a voicemail asking for a call back. As of present on Thursday July 10th, I still have not heard back. As someone how has owned two Nissan's and has had a generally positive experience with other Nissan dealerships such as Guelph Nissan and Brampton North Nissan, I was terribly disappointed by this first experience at Plaza Nissan. While I live in Hamilton now, ultimately I believe it is worth the drive to visit a Nissan dealer outside of Hamilton if you are looking for a positive service experience. More
I was having an issue with my tire not holding air. I went to the dealership and Edward took excellent care of me. Service team got my tire fixed and even washed my car! Brought car in for oil change took longer then usually would. Put my work order on wrong work board so didn't get look at for over an hour. But they gave me free oil change for their mistake. Dealership was very Organized Friendly Clean Respectful of its customers. We even had a very good BBQ With Burgers and Hot Dogs. We were very impressed with the treatment. Had a great experience, Giancarlo was wonderful, would recommend his services to a friend. Financial department i felt could have been a bit more forthcoming on some of the charges.
