New Car Purchase 2019 Honda Civic Touring Dropped in to test drive a few vehicles that we were interested in. This was our 1st time at dealership. Spoke with Cam in showroom, he encouraged us Dropped in to test drive a few vehicles that we were interested in. This was our 1st time at dealership. Spoke with Cam in showroom, he encouraged us to take our time, look around he was there if we had any questions. Test drove 3 vehicles, went home thought it over, returned same day and bought our 1st Honda (Civic Touring). Cam answered any questions we had, worked out a final price and was not pushy, Very pleasant car purchase experience...…thank you Cam. More

Service is often just fine here... but not this time I am not happy with the latest experience at the Service department. We had my wife's 2011 CRV booked for service and took it in March 19 .... only to I am not happy with the latest experience at the Service department. We had my wife's 2011 CRV booked for service and took it in March 19 .... only to find out the parts for the recall (N70) are not available. I had specifically asked the guy (Jeff) when booking the service whether parts were available. He assured me they were. So we get there at 3:10 pm on March 18, only to find out that parts are not available. The lady says, Someone should have contacted you. Well as the note below indicates, they did contact us by email at 3:12 pm, ... after we were already at their shop. Surely they knew before this afternoon that the parts would not available. **Granted, our appointment was for 9 am the next morning**, so we were bringing it in a bit early (leaving it overnight). But I wonder, would anyone have contacted us in time, had we planned to bring the car in the next morning, as scheduled? This is so annoying! The dealer needs some system for checking: Who has a recall appointment in the next 48 hours? If parts are not available, let's notify them ASAP so they can revise their schedule in advance of the original date. It's not ideal to be without a car for even a half day, but people schedule their lives around the appointment date. Try to tell the customers well in advance if the appointments need to be cancelled! P..S. I still have not received a full reply to my note about this issue (6 days ago, by e-mail) to Honda Canada. More
