Okanagan Chrysler Jeep Dodge

A disappointing and inconsiderate waste of my time. I have dealt with this dealership a number of times and they have disappointed me only twice. I contacted the service department a month or 2 ago to let them know I needed to have the wireless ignition node module replaced in my vehicle due to a safety recall. They recently called me to let me know they had received the part and could now do the replacement, and we set up an appointment to have the work completed. I dropped off my vehicle at 8:30 AM on the day of the appointment and was told that the work would likely take around 3 hours or so. I left my number so that they could call me when the work was done. I passed the next 3 hours walking around town (as I only have one vehicle). I returned to the dealership at 11:30 as I expected that the vehicle would likely soon be ready. To my surprise, my car was outside waiting for me. If it was ready, why hadn't they called me???? I went to the service desk and told them I was here to pick up my car. The girl at the desk said that the service advisor, Gary Callander, wanted to talk to me. Gary subsequently told me that the girl upstairs (Carol) had neglected to order the correct part, and therefore no work had been done on my vehicle. "Sorry". That's basically all he had to say. Why didn't he call me as soon as he knew they didn't have the right part, instead of making me waste the entire morning???? After being "dismissed" by Gary I figured it might be wise to go and speak to whoever was in charge of the dealership. So I sat down with the manager in an office and related to him the events of the past three and a half hours. After he told me "Sorry", he told me he really appreciated my visit to see him and took down my name and number. I went home and have waited 4 days to write this. I put off writing this review until today because I was foolishly hoping that the dealership might call me and offer further reasons for the mix up, and maybe promise that I would not have to wait for three hours when the right part does come in. After all, he did take down my name and number. It seems that although they are very willing to charge hefty hourly rates for their labour, my time is worth nothing to them. More

I also can't say enough about Adam Johnstone. When some issues came up after I had already taken my truck home, he completely took charge and "made things RIGHT for me." One issue was that a gentleman in the Parts Dept. and one gentleman in the Service Dept. told me they would not replace my badly warped truck liner..........Adam made it happen!!! We also chatted with David, the technician who worked on the vehicle, and he provided a very comprehensive report that enabled us to get reimbursed by the original shop. They took all of my needs into consideration when looking for my new vehicle. The transaction was very comforable and enjoyable. Very Honest and down to earth people. The only issue is with the specs on the vehicle primarily mileage, I drove the Renegade to Canmore Alberta and my gas mileage was not as advertised, I left Canmore with 3/4 tank of fuel and stretched that out to 674 KM FANTASTIC or 8.2/100km Well done folks I am extremely pleased with the service and most of all my shiny new JEEP Scott Fuoco More
