Terrible experience, and lots of fake reviews on Google. All the most recent reviews are fake and purchased...says a lot about a dealer when they have to buy fake reviews. In my opinion, avoid this dealership, period. VW Oakville is sleazy and crooked and awful in every way. After fully agreeing on a deal (in writing), running my credit and taking my deposit, they VW Oakville is sleazy and crooked and awful in every way. After fully agreeing on a deal (in writing), running my credit and taking my deposit, they dragged me along for 3 weeks at which point they blatantly backed out. It cost me 3 weeks of time, and thousands of dollars as interest rates went up and the value of my trade in dropped and my credit score dropped. Damien was a pawn and literally said anything to get me into the dealership...including outright lies (avoid him as he has no power to do anything). Chris outright lied to me multiple times on the phone and then had the audacity to back out of the deal at the last minute. Bob, the GM, who knows if he even exists, never returned my calls or stepped in to do the right thing. Awful customer service, awful staff, awful dealership. In my opinion, avoid all the hassle and go elsewhere, consider yourself warned. Find a dealer that values your business...not one that will say anything to get you in the door. Oakville Volkswagen is a disgrace. More

Experienced poor car Salesmanship. ( Bought my 2019 Jetta from another VW Dealer.) Poor store setup. Crowed and small guest waiting area. (Don't even have coffee.} The technician did ( Bought my 2019 Jetta from another VW Dealer.) Poor store setup. Crowed and small guest waiting area. (Don't even have coffee.} The technician didn't reset after simple oil and tire changed. ( Tire pressure light blinking after driven for awhile.} Charged $11.50+Tax for a "Good" 2032 Key Fob button battery yet still have change battery request on dashboard . Advisor never return calls. Total Amount ends up higher then another VW's with the same service. Would I recommend Oakville Volkswagen ? More

They will do anything at all to try to drive up the price, including sneakily adding warranties to your finance/lease while claiming it is "free". After deliberation they came back and said "we were including warranty but if you'd like it without we can price match the website." Then after I purchased my car after 4 hours of delibration, they called me back the next day saying they can't get me the car I chose despite me signing the contract and tried to tell me they could get me another car at the same price. They added anotoher YEAR of payments in FINE print and tried to pressure me into signing it without reading. Do not trust them. Read everything twice and do not take anything they say at face value. Always have it written in ink with your signature at the dotted line, then and only then, is it in good faith. More

I didn't even think customer service could get this low. I inquired about a used car through autotrader and received a strange email, so I called the number in the email and connected with a customer repres I inquired about a used car through autotrader and received a strange email, so I called the number in the email and connected with a customer representative who did not know who sent the email. I was then connected to a sales representative who seemed very unorganized and unexperienced and needed to call me back between every simple question I had. I then went to test drive that car and realized quickly it was in horrible shape after this representative expressed it was in good condition. I placed an offer and after some time of this sales rep wasting my time, his manager came out and told me everything I already knew was wrong with the car. They promised to call me back multiple times and this never happened. I feel sorry to whomever bought that car and was scammed by this dealership.
