We made a deal to p My husband a I went into the dealership to purchase a used vehicle. We were shown and test drove a 2011 Jeep Compass with 37000Km. We made a deal to purchase the vehicle and put down our deposit of 500.00 on June 1,2014. We were told the vehicle had been sold but the person could not get financing and needed a co-signer, but if we wanted to buy the car that day it was ours. We spent 4hrs to complete this deal and arranged to pick up the Jeep on Friday, June 6/13. In the meantime we cancelled our insurance on our trade in & put it on the Jeep and arranged to pick up a bank draft for our cash sale. When we got there on Friday the finance person left to arrange, supposedly, for the Jeep to be given to us. He returns to tell us the vehicle is gone & had been sold to the person who could not get finance, as we were told. Apparently he came in Monday with a co-signer and they sold it to him and didn't even bother to phone us. They made promises to find us a vehicle and they would go to auctions and call Chrysler. The General Manager said he would look after us. They kept our deposit and said they would not look for a vehicle if they didn't have our deposit. We would have to keep calling them to see if they found a vehicle and be told they were going to auction and to give until today & of course they didn't find anything (I don't think they even tried and just wanted to get rid of us.) The only thing they did was refund our deposit so I guess that is it for us. After almost 3 Weeks of waiting to see if they would find us a comparable vehicle. Now we have to start looking again and I am very untrusting of any dealership at this point. We are seniors and find this task of finding a vehicle very stressful, especially after this experience as we have not bought a vehicle for 10 years. These salespeople should be totally ashamed of what they have done to us but I am sure it didn't mean a thing to them. More

Looking for a truck on a budget I was in the market for a truck used or new for the past couple months. I had looked at some used ones and also new at various dealers in the GTA and I was in the market for a truck used or new for the past couple months. I had looked at some used ones and also new at various dealers in the GTA and did not find the right truck, or something that would fit my budget. I called up Oakville Dodge to request info on a new Ram 1500 and spoke with Mike. Right away Mike gave me the impression that he understood my needs and wanted to work to find the right fit for me. This led to an appointment which I sat with Mike and went over my budget (which is tight considering have a baby on the way in a few weeks). We discussed my options and Mike really went out of his way to find a suitable truck and stick with my budget and that not only made me feel very comfortable but also led to me buying a new 2014 Ram 1500 (my first new vehicle ever!). The service provided by Mike, Frank and Chris completely exceeded my expectations and I consider this dealership by far the best that I have visited. This team really works well to provide a fantastic customer experience and also meet the needs of someone working with a specific budget. I consider this a new relationship and would gladly recommend this dealer to anyone and everyone in the market for a vehicle.
