From a wreck to a brand new car. After an accident in a hospital parking lot, I had my car towed to your dealership on Oxford. I bought this car and leased several others from Oakridge and have been totally satisfied with any dealings I have had regarding service, etc. The Agent with the Personal Insurance Company was very unhappy with me because I insisted I wanted the car repaired at Oakridge rather than where he wanted me to have it done. He had a terrible attitude and was very disrespectful and hard to deal with. Corinne McAnsh was just the opposite. She was friendly, yet business like, and treated me with kindness and respect. The accident occurred just before Christmas and because of all the down time for the Holidays, I was prepared for a long wait. On January 11 the agent called and said I had to return the loaner that day and Oakridge would have to pay for anything further. He threw it up in my face that if I had taken the car to their repair place it would be ready by now. He later called back and said the Insurance Company would now pay up to the 15th of January. I had already called Corinne and she was looking into getting me a loaner. I think he had talked to her and found out he legally had to pay up to the 15th but he was trying to make himself look good by giving us a few more days out of the goodness of his heart. Corinne came through again and got me a nice car for the rest of the time and I did not have to pay a $150.00 deposit on it like I did at Enterprize. I cannot say enough about how wonderfully I have been treated during this upsetting experience. The loaner car took so much pressure off of us because my wife and I both have Cancer and need transportation to our treatments. The car looks like it just came off the assembly line and drives like a dream. Thank you Oakridge Ford and a special thankyou to Corinne McAnsh. More

Polite and efficient I would give Richard Disabato a rating of 10. He was very understanding. I was extremely upset over what I felt and still believe is a Ford issue. The power steering on our 2010 ford escape just quit, now normally you would check the power steering fluid. I bought 2 containers of power steering fluid but could not find a place to put it. As it turned out it is an electric issue. I googled recalls and found that 1.1 million recalls were made from vehicles made in Kansas City U.S.A. due to faulty sensor in steering column. Our vehicle has a sticker on the windshield which plainly says made in Kansas City. Problem is our vehicle is not listed on recall. Our truck turned into manual mode at Oxford and Richmond, which is one of the busiest intersections in London. My husband was driving and is experienced in manual vehicles. I guess unless someone dies in an accident Ford doesn't care also being Canadian goes against you as well. The price of this is 1663.00 plus tax. Poor Richard listened to me and showed empathy although it was above his pay grade to resolve. There is no indication that this will happen the power steering just dies. More

I know they have a job to do, but sometimes they push their accessories a little too hard. In spite of that, I would not hesitate recommending Michael and Oakridge Ford to our friends. More

Battery Replacement On my January 13-14 visit, Brandon Lilley was extremely professional and very helpful. On January 3rd I had the Escape in to have the cabin cooler pump replaced and dealt with Amber Holmes at that time and once again, she was very patient, professional and helpful. On both occasions I was advised that the necessary work was out of warranty but both Erin and Brandon were able to somehow manage it so that the work was covered by Ford. This was certainly not an expectation on my part and quite honestly a welcomed surprise. While walking through the service area, Kelly Karl-Begg caught my eye and made her way over to me to see how I was doing. I'm always impressed that Kelly recognizes me and takes the time to have a chat. The shuttle drivers are always prompt, on time and courteous. Overall I am very impressed with the service I receive at Oakridge Ford and have expressed this with my neighbour on several occasions. He recently leased an Escape at Oakridge!! More
