We have had your vehicle in several times and we have had Ford Motor Company involved throughout the repair process. They have deemed the condition a normal characteristic of the vehicle. Funny, because when talking with Ford Customer Service, they say the issue isn't getting fixed because Oakridge Ford doesn't recommend a repair. Oakridge Ford reports the problem to be too much play in the differential, causing a banging sound. Ford Customer Service says Oakridge Ford doesn't recommend a repair because they found another truck to have too much play in the rear differential as well, and thus believe it's normal. Ford Customer Service says they rely on the dealerships to be their eyes and ears, and when Oakridge Ford decides it's a problem, that's when it will get fixed. So, my point stands. Oakridge Ford isn't trying hard enough to make this situation right.

Mark (service manager) and I had a chat, and Oakridge Ford will take another look at the rear differential, and see if there's anything out of spec. Mark was down to earth during out conversation, and was willing to work with the truck again.
