throttle problem on my fusion 2012 I had my car fixed at a close to home place and then went to Oakridge regarding the programming of the keys. I believe these are faulty if the car is driven over a certain speed limit. It seems to run differently. They took my paperwork and sent it in to you and you did send the money back for that part but because of the problem I had it overheat the battery and cracked it so I had to buy a new one. Which I paid for. Is there a problem with keys being programmed? I bought this car second hand and have been concerned with the keys. Especially key #2. The spare one. I am in Florida right now and put over $600.00 US onto it since I came down, for two new front tires that have gone bad( cracked) and one flat. Plus now the pressure gauge on the car is on because the gauge is defective and it will cost me 90 dollars US to get it replaced. What is going on here? I need answers. Should I get rid of it. I am going to be nervous driving back to Canada, I sure do not look forward to it. Scared it will blow something again. No work was done here at Oakridge Ford but the person I spoke to helped me get some of my money back. No name available. Sorry I did buy it at Highbury Ford and that is the last time I will go there, they have given me a hard time every time I go in. Which will not happen again. That is the reason I went out to Oakridge Ford as they treat me good. I am waiting to hear from you re the key problem and the tire pressure gauge problem. By the way Oakridge Ford took my book with all the maitenance work done since it was bought. They said I don't need it now. I had not missed it until I went back. They have no right to take anything from my car. I bought it when I bought the car. And it was mine. I do not trust them. More

Shady Dealership. Stay Away! Came to the dealership to see a car with a very low advertised price at a reputable car sales website. I called them as soon as I saw the ad and had t Came to the dealership to see a car with a very low advertised price at a reputable car sales website. I called them as soon as I saw the ad and had them know that I was coming from a 1.5 hour drive from where I am coming from. I came there and was about to sign the bill of sale until I saw the price was upped by $1000. The sales person arguement are as follows; 1) "Their system did not change." I still had the ad open from the same day that advertised the original price I saw prior to scheduleing my test drive, but when the same ad was refreshed, it has now the new updated higher price. The sales person claim they are not aware of this change with two conflicting reasons; a) the person who made the price change is not in on that day b) it is not recorded in their system. 2) "The safety/e-test was not included in the orignal price I saw." The supposdely value of all the add-ons to be included int the safety/e-test on this vehicle was $2500 but they are only charging the customers $1000 hence the higher sale price. So what happened next: I had accused them of an illegal tactic called "bait and switch" and that was when they started negotiating a price. We agreed upon a deal, basically with the same original price I saw on the car, plus a reduced by 50% warranty. To cover themselves, they made me sign a waiver that we had agreed upon and compromised on a deal. Nonetheles, this dealership is VERY SHADY and would advise people to not come here. But it does not end there: In addition to the above experience, the supposedly $2500 value safety and e-testing should have included new tires, calipers, rotors, and wipers but I came to pick up the vehicle with only new tires and brake pads. Their claim was that the safety and e-testing showed that these are the only ones that needs replacing. So much for a $2500 value safety/e-testing. And like many new cars, they undergo interior and exterior detailing prior to the customer picking them up. They told me during my test drive that the car will go through these detailing upon my purchase which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, as the weather was gloomy the day I picked up the vehicle, I only noticed the swirl marks on the exterior panels and grime on the interior a few days later after picking up the car. I gave them a call to inquire about this and they claim the car's panels was thoroughly polished and the interior was cleaned as fast as possible - sure, the interior was cleaned 'as fast as possible' hence the leftover grime, but polished exterior panels? Definitely BS. All this trouble and they had the face to offer a $1400 rust proof protection (which supposedly include top notched "detailing" and wax protection) and a $400 window tinting service (self claimed their personell to be the best). Just a tip to anyone purhcasing a car; you can purchase rust protection at a reputable rust protection shop for $100 to $200 (depending on vehicle size), get a properly waxed car with "PROPER or ACTUAL" detailing for as a low as $200, and window tinting at reputable tinting shops for $150. Very unreal experience and I HIGHLY advise people who read this to not car shop at Oakridge Ford. More

Waited over 8.5hrs for a 1 hr repair Made an "appointment" for 8:45am, dropped it off a bit earlier, ended up leaving after 5:15pm. When I made the "appointment" they said my vehicle would be there for 2 hrs. So my wife picked me up and we ran some errands. She dropped me off at 1:30pm and they still hadn't taken it in. They then gave me a bunch of b*ll$hit excuses and said it would be done by 4pm. I was frustrated but thought I could wait it out. Sat in the waiting room for 2.5hrs, and went back to see my "service" advisor and IT STILL WASN'T IN. So I told him I had enough and just wanted to take my vehicle and go home. Oh! At that moment, it magically ended up finally getting worked on..... at 4:10pm. This is the biggest disappointment, the warranty. We had purchased our used vehicle from this dealership and we were led to believe (between sales and finance) that the balance of the warranty would be transferred over to us. But nope, after waiting all that time they made me pay 140$ for and hour of labour, something my neighborhood mechanic could have done for half that price, with much better service. NEVER GOING BACK. More
