While they fixed their pro When we bought our Kia Sportage, they didn't pay off my previous loan until the finance company called me and informed me. While they fixed their problem, it hit my credit. 2. On our second servicing, they didn't use the lug nut key, and cut off the lug nut. I don't care about that, but they tried to forward the charge to my wife while I was away with work. 3. With our purchase agreement, we had free oil changes. Upon our second oil change, they backtracked and told us that was not the case. 4. When I called and made that second servicing appointment, the service desk woman gave my wife some absolutely uncalled-for attitude, claiming the appointment was never booked. Only after showing my call history and the exact time I called did they realize their mistake, and my wife did not receive an apology. 5. My dear friend brought her vehicle in to have the dealership purchase it. After signing the bill of sale, they called back and told her they are backing out of it due to damage on the vehicle (they had looked over the vehicle WITH MY FRIEND), and told her if she didn't pick it up, they were going to have it picked up and impounded. My poor friend didn't have much of a choice, as she doesn't have time or money to spend fighting this kind of situation. I absolutely did not want to post this here, but I'd be remiss to not bring this all to my review. We have given this dealership several opportunities to reconcile their misdeeds, and they keep impressing us with their negligence and poor service. Please keep my review in mind when you are choosing a dealership. More
Beyond disappointed in the lack of professionalism displayed by the Manager in regards to a "lost" warranty. There will be follow ups to those above him to insure this doesn't happen to other people. displayed by the Manager in regards to a "lost" warranty. There will be follow ups to those above him to insure this doesn't happen to other people. Do not bother getting an extended warranty here, they simply lose it and you're out of all of that money. If I could give negative score I would. Back in October of 2019 I purchased a 2015 Jetta from this dealership. The car was awesome low KMs, great on gas, and very fun to drive. My issue Back in October of 2019 I purchased a 2015 Jetta from this dealership. The car was awesome low KMs, great on gas, and very fun to drive. My issue with this dealership stems from how they sell you useless warranties and insurance which you can never use or claim. Their former finance person (Shad) is to put it simply one of the most dishonest, snake oil selling people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He sold he me $4,200.00 worth of items which I could never use. And when I did try and use them. I was told that I wasn't covered. I spoke with the ownership of Northside Kia, and was pretty much told buyer beware. This is a $4,200.00 lesson I have learned. I would suggest that no one ever use this dealership (Northside Kia regardless of the owners. New or old) and if you come across Shad Y at any dealership simply walk away(I really mean run away as fast as you can) and take your business elsewhere. My suggestion to the new owners is to honor the clients which you bought with dealership and do not force them to go Amvic or take legal actions. All when a client requests to speak with the General manager or the Owner. May be you should let them. For Owners I will see you in court. More
Fraud! Fraud! Don't use this dealership. I went in to purchase a used vehicle, the Sales Manager Sam and myself made a deal on a 2020 Kia Sorento. Signed Fraud! Don't use this dealership. I went in to purchase a used vehicle, the Sales Manager Sam and myself made a deal on a 2020 Kia Sorento. Signed the deal and I also signed the copy of the carfax showing no accidents. Then needed to clean the vehicle and get it ready, I put a $4,000.00 deposit on the vehicle, the purchase was a cash deal. They vehicle wasn't ready the next day like promised, finally the 2nd day I called to inquire about the vehicle. Sam informed me that he only pulled the carfax for Alberta and the car had a minor accident in BC! Which isn't true as all carfax's include all the provinces not just 1 province so he showed me a fake or doctored carfax to make the sale, assuming in hopes that I wouldn't back out of the deal. Well the accident was 18k worth of repairs. I backed out of the deal and the management wouldn't return my call. So I suspect this is how this group does business. I own 2 Kia's purchased from other stores. Stay away from North Edmonton Kia. More
I went in last night to look at a car I called ahead to confirm was in stock. I was told it wasn't when I arrived so we tested another similar (Forte) and I liked it, MSRP price looked good (although the l confirm was in stock. I was told it wasn't when I arrived so we tested another similar (Forte) and I liked it, MSRP price looked good (although the listing on their website is 2k HIGHER than the Kia and other MSRP websites list this model and all models on their website for) and when they "ran the numbers" I was told it would be around 28K for the sticker price, the required $2400 perks package and a market adjustment of $2000, then additional required taxing on top. I spent literally 4 hours there and halfway in they brought in the manager, they somehow magically found the car I first went in to test drive which is cheaper, and I liked it... ran the numbers again and it still was coming up more so we continue to haggle and they say they will exclude the $2k. At that point I was starving and exhausted and said k I'll give deposit. Thankfullly I did not have my wallet on hand so I did not give any other useful info or sign any bill of sale, and was able to cancel my deposit the next day as the transfer had not been accepted. I had looked at the sheet with the numbers again and definitely looked like they were still hiding some extra charges, definitely not following AB's All-In Pricing requirement! I kept reiterating that I wanted the "Nek Assurance" $2400 package to be broken down for how much each item would cost and they would not at all do this, and said none of it could be removed as it is new management policy. And when I kept asking for an overall breakdown of the costs they just brought me back the same paper... but I wanted to see where each of the dollars being charged comes from (parts, services, fees, taxes, etc). I will not be doing business with this company and will hopefully be able to secure a deal on a Hyundai Venue Preferred for $100 less than the Rio with all costs etc included (I triple confirmed that there would be no other additional fees on top of his quote). The original price was to be over 28k with the fees. Much better negotiating experience and hopefully I won't be sitting in the office for 4 hours! More
