I kinda figured as much because the floor was rusting out, car didn't want to start some days, the tail pipe extension was dragging behind it, the headlamp was fried, etc. They knew I needed a vehicle and they found me a manual Toyota Matrix, which is a step-up from the Echo at an amazing price! They did all the paperwork, drove me around, I ate apples and pears and drank tons of coffee while I waited. I paid cash and drove home with my new (to me) car the same day! So happy! I really dodged a bullet there. I feel super safe in my new (to me) car. The value of Toyota's customer service far exceeds the price of my car. More

When we went there to have a look, the model we were interested in had been sold, but Leo showed us a similar model and did an excellent job of arranging the trade in and purchase on the same day. The finance manager Dawn Moffat was friendly and easy to deal with and we were on our way in our new to us vehicle in a couple of hours. Leo and Dawn were good examples for their dealership. More

Service was hit and miss, at least with the salesmen we dealt with (Mazda was excellent, but the vehicle was not what we were looking for). Right away we noticed a difference with Leo Vaserbakh, when we arrived for our called ahead test drive, he had two vehicles warmed up; the one we asked for, plus another used version. Instead of downplaying the value of our trade in, he insisted they would take it, even though it needed a lot of work. He went to the garage to appraise the vehicle, and went an additional time to pick up the ownership for us. He threw in two upgrades we had talked about at no extra cost as part of the deal. After purchasing the vehicle he took his time showing us the various features of the car. Lori, the woman in finance was also fantastic. No pushiness, just helpfulness. Awesome. Plus unlimited free car washes? Yes please. More

Being from a small community in Central Ontario we realized early on that we have to shop around by phone due to distances involved in travelling to various dealerships when purchasing a new vehicle. Many dealerships were not interested in dealing with us over the phone.. but not Leo...We could tell by the get go that this was the place we were going to buy. Upon arriving at the dealership in person Leo took the time to explain the product and give us all the details to finalize the sale. I know he went to bat for us with the general Manager to seal the deal on our new Tacoma. The Finance Manager Dawn Moffatt was also a pleasure to deal with. She was very knowledgeable and explained all of our financing options. The day after delivery of the vehicle we discovered and issue with one aluminum rims. I immediately contacted Leo who was extremely apologetic for the situation. Instead of putting me through to the service department to look after it myself he personally handled the situation and made all the arrangements with the Service manager to have the problem rectified. He even threw in a gas card for all the trouble .. How is that for service !! If you are shopping for a Toyota .. you need to go see Leo at North Bay Toyota !! More

At the least they could have said we'll guys we appreciate that fact you came down from such a long ride but there isn't much we can do except perhaps a few hundred.. Instead we got "Maybe you guys are looking at the wrong car". Not to mention you can't pay them more then $3000 on credit card because then they have to pay more "fee". Also because they're in North Bay and don't require emission testing to be done, they will not reimburse you even if you require it by law where you live. Most possibly, the worst dealer I have walked into my entire life. Please avoid them at all cost and save your precious time. More

Great salesman at a so-so dealership I had checked out cars at quite a few dealerships prior to settling on North Bay Toyota and Brent Ogletree (my salesman) was a large part of why I cho I had checked out cars at quite a few dealerships prior to settling on North Bay Toyota and Brent Ogletree (my salesman) was a large part of why I chose to buy at North Bay Toyota. He was extremely helpful throughout the process and there was no rush or pressure to buy. I can tell you that I felt very uncomfortable at some of the other dealerships I checked out and would not do business with people that I did not trust. Brent was willing to take my calls and texts at any hour and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. For any concerns or issues that I had, Brent did not hesitate to provide a solution and find time for me in his day even after I had purchased the car. Unfortunately, I did not feel like Brent's work ethic and friendliness extended to some other employees in North Bay Toyota's sales department that I spoke with who seemed more interested in the bottom line than my satisfaction. I would give Brent a 5/5 review as I could not ask for more from him and would definitely do business with him again. The dealership receives a 3/5 largely due to my brief experience with the general manager Paul who I felt was very rude. I cannot comment on the service department as my new car has not had any work done on it yet. More
