Salesman was late and when he finally did arrive, took his time getting me into the vehicle. Despite my telling him repeatedly that I was not ready to purchase and still had other makes/models I wanted to test drive he insisted that i provide him with info about what i owed on my current vehicle. He sure moved fast onc`````````````````qq1e he had my keys - thinking he had reeled in a big one. The offer I received was a joke - nicely printed....but not the usual figures you expect when making a purchase of this size...as a somewhat knowledgeable consumer, with all of the information available to me, you would think that the finance manager would try to convince me that this is a good deal using solid evidence. Instead he produced a presentation worthy of a grade 2 student. 3 pieces of paper- one with my name on it - one with the car details (really just the name and price) - and one with a bi-weekly payment. The most amusing part to me was that they both appeared very pleased with themselves and expected that i would make a decision on the spot with zero transparency about how they came up with the number. No interest rate, trade-in value, Gst, term of loan...nothing other than a ridiculously high bi-weekly payment, that i used to quickly calculate the principal once i had asked for the interest rate and term of the loan. With no transparency - they must have thought i was just a stupid old broad. Joke is on them! I won't be returning for any reason than perhaps to have my new Touareg (purchased from another dealer) serviced - and then only under warranty and if all other VW dealers north of the 49th parallel have gone out of business. Shame on you GoAuto and double shame on you NordenVW. i will be telling all my friends and acquaintances not to go near a GoAuto dealership. More
WONT Refund deposits So I have been shopping for a new car for the past week. I was dealing with Norden VW and had agreed to purchase a 2016 Jetta. They said they required a refundable deposit of $500 to hold the car. After I left the dealership I decided thatI should shop around more before purchasing and I immediately let them know I was no longer interested in the Jetta. But they will not refund my deposit! I am a student at NAIT and can't exact afford to give $500 to a million dollar corporation like Go Auto. My whole experience with this dealership has left a lot to be desired. I was not treated with respect and they were treating me complete different from when my parents were with me to when I was alone. As soon as my parents were no longer looking with me they became insisting and pushy. They printed out a bill of sale telling me I had to sign even tho I had informed them I wanted more time to think. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE LOOKING TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE More

The angle was never changed before, but this time it was and I asked the staff to put it back to how it was but they couldn't do it and they had to bring the service manager to argue with me. I just wanted my head lamps back to normal like how they had been for the past 5 years. More
This dealership is a joke! Women beware I had a sales person and a sales manager that said many things while dealing then changed what they said. Got there around 10:00 am. I was interested in a 2016 Jetta, Took a 2016 Jetta TSI demo for a test drive, which had Sirus radio, power seats, very nice car was told this is exactly what the car will be like except for sunroof, I was ok with that, I said perfect as I liked it. Got back to dealership was told new 2016 was in a storage lot outside of town. Could not see it but trusted them knowing what I was getting or what I thought I was getting. I was told They would go get the car and have it detailed so I can take it home. I bought winter tire package and was told they will put the tires on and then I could go home. I sent my friend home that brought me there as I was told I would have my new car. After a three hour wait I could not take the car home because there was no one in the service department. They had to give me a service car to get home. I did not get back to my house until 7:30 pm. By this time I was disappointed and just wanted to call them and tell them I don't want the car, but I was already in to deep. Had my car delivery next evening, still expecting it to be like the 2016 that I drove as a demo, and low and behold it was not what I wanted. By this time I invested in new tires, a 3 m package that cost me 3000.00 and a car I did not desire. And I had to get the windshield repaired as the driver got a big chip in the windshield while bringing it to me. I have the car but boy do I regret buying it. These guys had no idea what they are doing and only worried about a sale and as I complained was told they have been around for years. Well keep up The good work boys and you won't be around much longer. Disappointed that is for sure. Iwill not buy my next Volkswagon there that is for sure. More

After two bad experiences at Subaru City and Rally Subaru in Edmonton, we decided to check out VW - turned out to be a great decision. They actually were interested in our business and didn't treat my wife like she was invisible (as she was actually the one buying the car!). Sales staff were friendly, professional, low pressure, and informative. Dealership is beautiful. Highly recommend as we ended up buying a 2016 Tiguan SE here - woo hoo! More
Worst Customer Service I have ever experience For the past 9 months, we have been trying to get the Jetta in for rust repair under warranty. we live 400km away and Norden is the nearest dealer. 9 For the past 9 months, we have been trying to get the Jetta in for rust repair under warranty. we live 400km away and Norden is the nearest dealer. 9 months ago we were in for them to take pictures to get approval for the work, after a couple of months of waiting for a response we finally got a hold of them and had no idea what we were talking about, They lost the pictures.. for the past many months we have been calling and calling and calling, and the guy who is suppose to talk to us is always busy or not there.. he NEVER returned a phone call. Today we tried again and called 4 times each time he was busy but still NEVER called back.. We just want the work done and cant understand why Norden is so unprofessional. For us we need to plan a trip down to retake pictures.. and then wait to find out if they will do the work then make another trip down to have the work done... Something needs to be done with NORDEN VOLKSWAGEN, By far the worst customer service i have ever seen, and by reading other reviews others feel the same! More

One of my worst experiences was in 2012 when my car was brought in for a steering issue and they ended up denting my car. DENTING IT. They didn't even have the decency to tell me. I walked out to my car and discovered it on my own, I barely got an apology, although they did fix it for free. The worst part about it was, the issue it went in for that day wasn't even fixed. Ive never been more outraged in my life. This place is a bloody nightmare. The mechanics are pompous and rude and the rest of them are just idiots. This dealership is my personal xxxx. More
Bad Customer Service and Timing Belt Scam My experience: I had my City Golf in for repairs on Monday Dec.22 and picked it up Tuesday Dec.23. This was my first visit to Norden as I used to liv My experience: I had my City Golf in for repairs on Monday Dec.22 and picked it up Tuesday Dec.23. This was my first visit to Norden as I used to live in Calgary and I have to say what a disappointment when I picked my car up. After being ignored by the service desk for 15 minutes while employees chatted with each other, I paid my $1000 repair bill with attached $3700 estimate for future repair work. I then was told to go find my car somewhere out in the massive parking lot. I walked around said parking area for another 15 min looking for my 'tornado red' Golf, shouldn't be hard to find right? Turns out I passed it twice because it was a muddy mess!! Not only that, my drivers side window...you could barely see through!! Must've been quite the test drive as I know the vehicle was not that dirty when I brought it in!! Their service department couldn't be bothered to even wash my vehicle after a $1000 repair? I will definitely be thinking twice about returning to your business for those 'future' costly repairs I was quoted!! I would’ve come back into the dealership then to complain but I was so upset that I really didn’t want to make a scene, not only that didn’t have another hour to spare dealing with Norden as they’ve already had my vehicle two days. I instead took my muddy car over to Bubbles and spent another 30$ for a car wash. When I had a chance that evening I wrote the service manager Scott Ewanchuk and got a reply he’s on holidays, I then wrote his shop foreman Erik and received no response, so I filled out a response to the survey VW sent. Originally, I had booked a maintenance package online in early December but then the car started having issues. I finally got a response from my service advisor Dina Mosele, what a joke as well, it was filled with 'how can I make it better?' and then nothing!! She didn't even respond to my email. Not only that, the second I walked in she was insisting I get a timing belt repair and had them do a quote for it. When she called with my repair list she said I needed one again but I've just had it replaced 10,000km ago, why was she insisting I get another one??? Because it's another 1000$ repair, easy money for Norden!!! As for my first visit to Norden, it has left a bad impression, I’m considering going out of my way to the southside Volkswagen for future repairs if it means a better experience. More
CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR A MONTH, STILL WAITING. I lost my only set of keys, so I got my car towed to the dealership so they could program my keys. It was suppose to be done that week, at the beginn I lost my only set of keys, so I got my car towed to the dealership so they could program my keys. It was suppose to be done that week, at the beginning of December. A week later, she said that the keys were not programming because of a "system issue". Another week had passed and I was told they had ordered the wrong keys, then only HALF a key. Last week, I was told they needed to replace the entire ignition because the keys were not programming. They had already charged me for the keys, even though the work hasn't been done. I also have to pay over $800 to get the ignition replaced. So I am paying $1200.00 to be able to drive my car. My service advisor has not been returning my calls and I actually had to go in to talk to her to express my concern. I asked her when my car would be ready and she said she "didn't know". She did not seem to be very professional when I was speaking to her and came off as rude. I'm hoping it is done soon, as I do not live near my work and it has been a hassle. I will never be going to this dealership again after this. I still don't have my car and it's been a month, would not recommend coming here.! More

We were basically ready to sign the deal when Andrew ( who from the beginning I had a bad feeling about) was trying to trick us into signing at a bank rate of 7.25 when we were obviously buying brand at a rate of 0.99. Advice to people buying from here? READ what you sign CAREFULLY. Salesman was extremely pushy, intimidating, did not answer our questions and talked way too fast. BE careful. We bought from south side volkswagon and did not feel any pressure at all. More
