My 2 now and then. They are a very nice dealership to work with. Ive always been well taken care of. This time I was a lot disappointed with them. My 2010 toyota camry hybrids key fob stopped working last year. I took it to them, they inspected it (free of charge) and recommended me to get the keys changed. They also provided me a keysmith contact, which I followed up with. The contact confirmed that the keys were okay. I took the car back to the dealership, and asked them to diagnose it. That afternoon their service called me and mentioned that they tried to reprogram the keys by following the steps from toyota and let alone getting the keys to work, the car wont even start. They diagnosed a part called "ECU" that was fried. According to them, this would happen if somebody tried to hack in to the vehicle. The dealership mentioned that the ECU had to be ordered from USA and it would cost about $2,600 CAD and it would take about 2 weeks to get. They also mentioned that it should be covered by the insurance. I contacted the insurance and they assessed the vehicle with no trace of forced entry into the vehicle. Of course, the insurance canceled the claim. The dealership would not confirm if that would 100% solve the problem and nor they would roll the part back if it didn't work. I gave up on the dealership and towed my vehicle to a local mechanic. Last week after 2 months I finally got the vehicle. I was disappointed to hear that the issue with the car had nothing to do with the ECU. The issue was with a wire that could have been cut by a rodent or erosion due to salt. Had I gone ahead with the dealership, God knows how much these guys would have costed me. When the dealership provided me the quote and I asked for alternate options or the confidence in their diagnosis, they showed 99% confidence in their diagnosis, but no guarantees. I have contacted the dealership several times, but I did not hear back from them. Toyota is known for quality. Nobody in Barrhaven deserves this kind of service from toyota. More

First was told it was a colour cost but the numbers didn’t add up. Asked the salesman how they were able to come up with the numbers but they were unable to explain. Was told it was a website issue and that they were correcting the pricing but more than two weeks later the same price is being used in all their advertising. Overall were friendly but don’t believe when they say that they are straightforward unlike other dealerships and read the fine print. More
Add extra cost in final contract. Was looking for a truck and visited this dealer. Everything was great, the sales person and manager were super friendly. We talked about model and Was looking for a truck and visited this dealer. Everything was great, the sales person and manager were super friendly. We talked about model and prices. Until it came to the last step on the final contract. They added couple thousands on our agreed price in the final agreement. We let them know we are not gonna take that price for sure. And all the smiles are gone. Everyone became extremely rude. We just left. It's a waste of 4 hours. More
Unethical rude Finance people I am a victim from a brutal war. I never had the same level of humiliation I had on the hand of Myers Barrhaven Toyota employee named Ashly Wang. I ha I am a victim from a brutal war. I never had the same level of humiliation I had on the hand of Myers Barrhaven Toyota employee named Ashly Wang. I had the worse insulted moment than my days in war at Myers Barrhavan Toyota today. I went to buyout a leased car for my sister's business. Their financial officer named Ashly Wang behaved rudely and threw the papers on my face. She was abusive, threatening, and used verbally threatening words. I had more than 10 email communications and many phone conversations with her regards to this appointment, yet she never mentioned to me that the loan for the buyout is from private bank instead of Toyota financial. On the appointment she ended up asking detailed information such as mortgage information. I told her that if you had let us know in advance, I would have come prepared. She got mad and shouted at us saying you better know what to bring and that is not my job and threw all the applications and ownership to my face. Then I was contacted by Ran, another Financial manager who had advised us to go and do the buyout at Mendes since I had initially leased the vehicle from Mendes, Myers do not have any access to our information. What a joke in the modern information technology age. Also Ran mentioned that my sister's credit is very bad and the loan is rejected by the bank. But we check the credit right away and it was in a flying score. I am an immigrant and I don't speak the best Canadian English, but Ashly's language was threatening and frightening. She didn't know where to enter the first name and the last name in the application form. Entered letter "C" for the places where "L" need to be entered. Understanding her accent when speaking was hard enough but she also had a rude form of communication and an insulting attitude. If any one doesn't believe me just book a 5 minutes appointment with her to get a loan, that's it. I don't want you all to suffer like I had in her office room for 30 minutes. When lots of Canadians with extreme values and ethic are unemployed, I hope Myers will give them the better opportunity to serve valuable customers like us. PS : This is the 3rd brand new Toyota we own in the last 6 years. PS2 : Myers Barrhaven Toyota service employees are the best and my experiences with them for the last 3 years were phenomenal. PS3 : Mendes financial staff are way better, ethical, and professional. More
