Warranty Scam Alert.Do not purchase the XWRP warranty Warranty Scam Alert. Do not purchase the XWRP warranty from Mississauga Hyundai. I made this mistake during the sale of my Hyundai Sonata. Was told i Warranty Scam Alert. Do not purchase the XWRP warranty from Mississauga Hyundai. I made this mistake during the sale of my Hyundai Sonata. Was told if it was not used I would be able to claim the full amount back and it would be refunded. This is written on my bill of sale. Time comes to make my claim, the dealership confirms and provides the confirmation that I did not use any of the warranty. However they failed to provide me at the time of sale the XWRP warranty certificate that had a certificate number on it that XWRP required. Contacted Mississauga Hyundai again asking for this and no response. I have been following up with the consistently to provide this but decided to call XWRP to inquire if there was a time frame to make my claim. I was advised it was 30-60 days. I am well past this and likely will have quite a fight on my hand. After more research I am not the 1st person Mississauga Hyundai has done this with and likely won't be the last. Also XWRP after more research has a reputation of not providing this warranty refund so I would have likely been fighting with both companies. I feel Mississauga Hyundai should refund my warranty as I paid this to them as part of the sale, they can deal with XWRP on the return of the funds. Very poor customer service in regards to this issue, but I guarantee if I wanted to buy another car they would try to sell me the same garbage. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. I am currently looking into legal action or this scam. More
