I called Jermain in Parts Oct 2 2019 as was quoted $691 (before tax) for a set of 4 winter tires (Michelin Latitude X-Ice Xi2) for my 2012 CR-V. So I made an appointment to come in and get them installed. I arrived October 28 for my 10 am appointment and the parts department decided that they would not honour that price as they said they would not be making a profit on it. I was annoyed that I had taken the day off work and did my price comparing and calls in early October that we would be all set to go. On October 2, your parts department offered the tires cheaper than Canadian tire so I made my appointment with you at Meadowvale Honda. I waited for over an hour while Dave Tsan advocated on my behalf with your parts department. He was fantastic and very supportive of what I was saying. Finally the parts department agreed to honour the price I was quoted on Oct 2. I didn't leave your Service Department till after 2 pm. A long day tiring day definitely. If things had run smoothly and more efficiently I would have had a better experience. In the future, situations like this can be avoided by putting the quote directly into the customers work order so that accusations by your parts department that I was making things up don't happen again. I believe you value customer loyalty and I hope this never happens again. More
