Shocked & disgusted with lying sales associate. Sales associate was completely dishonest! Before purchasing vehicle, asked him if there was any incentives on cash purchases only. He responded 'no' & Sales associate was completely dishonest! Before purchasing vehicle, asked him if there was any incentives on cash purchases only. He responded 'no' & the negotiating was carried out with an agreement & the vehicle was purchased. Unfortunately, had to find out through media 2 days later, that there is cash back value of $1350 (March & April 2018). The sales associate was contacted immediately & surprisingly he denied that the question was asked to him. Even if the question was not asked, the so called sales associate, should have informed the customer of the automatic incentive. The manager was eventually involved & offered the cash back. The offer was declined for the fact that ALL TRUST was taken away . How would a customer continue to TRUST the entire team of Markham Mazda down the road for servicing as well? A refund of the deposit was asked to be returned & granted (without issue). However, a face to face apology coming from the manager would have been nice! Once TRUST fails, there is no return! So potential buyers, please do your research on any incentives & promotions with any dealerships before speaking with any sales associates, as the truth will come out! More
Constantly Upselling I know it's their business to make money, but when I switched summer/winter tires, I specifically told them that my tires don't need balancing and I j I know it's their business to make money, but when I switched summer/winter tires, I specifically told them that my tires don't need balancing and I just wanted them to switch the tires. I checked the tires myself and all the weights were in place and hadn't shifted. Yet when I picked up my car, they had a charge on the bill for balancing and tried to explain that they balanced them anyway! I gave them an ear full and they reversed the charge, but this is my point. Most people just pay the bill without complaining. Keep an eye on your bill! More
pleasant, very friendly and helpful. I took my car in for usual oil change. Melissa at Customer Service was very courteous. Found that I needed brake pads etc changed. Since this was an unexpected expense she had the interior vacuumed for free and was very pleasant through out the service. The shuttle driver who dropped and picked me up from home was equally friendly. More
Horrible service, unexpected wait time Booked appointment to switch snow tires at 11am. They informed me that the whole process will take 45 minutes. Totally unacceptable. Many staff passed by and nobody came to me and see if I would need any help after sitting at the waiting area for 2.5 hours. Such a wonderful experience. I don't expect that kind of service from such a big corporation. All they focus is sales, and they give a xxxx on customer service. Company of the year 2016 if you are looking for someone to xxxx you off. More
Amazing new front like in the service department I recently went to Markham to get information on my Mazda 3 (brakes). While I was waiting in line both advisors were busy with customers. I was greeted with a nod, and one of us will be with u in a moment. While I waited I over head the convo the advisor Melissa was having. She was very knowledgable and took time to expain everything in detail and continued to cash the customer out. She was the same with me very patient. Even tho I did not get any work done that day, I over heard her mention to her pervious customer about the review. This is that kind of staff you want working for u! Deffff a 5 star More

Great service at this dealership I've been having my Mazda 3 serviced here since new and I must say that they have been consistently good. Benson is now in the Parts Department but, w I've been having my Mazda 3 serviced here since new and I must say that they have been consistently good. Benson is now in the Parts Department but, when he was in service, he was knowledgeable and always tried to explain all service and repairs needed as clearly as possible. The free WiFi in the waiting area is great and I find that my is always returned to me on the time promised. Another great thing is that they call me after each and every service to ask if everything is ok and whether I have any concerns. Great job Markham Mazda! More

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER I believe I get better customer service at McDonald's than this Mazda dealership. I probably wouldn't even give one star if I've option to do so. Sales agent showed me one car and we took test drive. He didn't even had enough information what he is talking about. After test drive I informed him today I've one more appointment for test drive and he started insisting why wouldn't you buy this car if I give you a good deal. Even though I informed him more than two times I believe in having couple of options before I make final decision. If we go and see something it doesn't mean we've to buy it right? This sales agent need to understand you can not throw away few thousand dollars like a peanuts. I met sales agent JOSHUA ZHAN. He is very rude and impolite sales agent. We took test drive and before we leave dealership he gave us offer then when we came back after sometime and his offer went up almost twofold. I lost last bit of respect for him when he told me "YOU SHOULD GO TO OTHER DEALERSHIP AND BUY THAT CAR. IT MUST BE BETTER OPTION FOR YOU" He really need to improve customer service skills and calm his ego down while he talk to customer. Rejection and obligations are the part of sales. I'm glad I didn't made purchase over there and I'll never suggest this place to anyone. I will be sending email to their head office and thank them for their great hospitality. More
Satisfied Customer...!!! Check Engine light came on, in my Mazda 3...Took it to a friend who had a OBDI Code Reader, and turned out that the car had a bad thermostat that need Check Engine light came on, in my Mazda 3...Took it to a friend who had a OBDI Code Reader, and turned out that the car had a bad thermostat that needed to be replaced... Called all the Mazda Dealerships, Workshops and a few of the local mechanics...Based on their pricing of the labour & parts, decided to make an appointment and come in to Markham Mazda... Being punctual, I showed up about 10mins before the appointment...There wasn't anybody at either of the Service Desks, and John behind the glass room with labels Service & Parts called me in after I was looking around for a minute or two... I told him about the problem, what I had done to check the car, and the conversation I had with a gentleman on the phone while making the appointment...He said that he can fix the problem with a full & through diagnosis, but he'd rather not... Any dealership & most mechanics would rather diagnose the car, so I let him proceed with the Diagnosis...He asked me for the keys and the car's ownership, filled up a form, gave me back my ownership and asked me if I needed to be dropped off and picked up in their Courtesy Vehicle...I had an open schedule so he advised me to wait in their lounge and said it'll take 2hrs atleast... Now the lounge isn't what I'd call a lounge, a waiting area at best...But that's understandable being the fact that they're one of the smallest Mazda Dealerships in the GTA... But hey, they've got free wifi, so pop out your phone, tablet, notebook and do whatever you have to do to while away the time... John came back after an hour and told me they've found a broken Engine Mount during the diagnosis and advised that I replace it, even though I could drive a month or two with the broken part...I told him to change it... 2hrs later the girl at the service desk came in and advised me that the car is ready and that I'm good to go... Now for the hard part, the bill was more than twice the initial estimate given by the advisor on the phone...But that didn't include the diagnosis, and the Parts+Labour to fix the broken Engine Mount, so I let it go... I asked if I could inspect the car before I paid my bill, and they have me the keys to the car and the girl walked outside with me... It seemed like a job done well, and not worth haggling over the price...Btw, I'm not a very good haggler... I paid my bill, and left...And the car's been good since, touchwood...!!! P.S.: Labour is $105+Taxes for an hour... More
