I am angry at myself for agreeing with the service tech that the filter be replaced. I have done some research and know $$ on my part was wasted. In the moment - rather than pay to store my tires again with Lauria - I brought them home to store in garage which defrayed the cost of the cabin filter. My being 72 and with my older Alzheimer husband - not something I wanted to do - but have neighbours with muscle who stepped up. ON ANOTHER ISSUE = GOT RECALL LETTER BEFORE XMAS AND TO MY KNOWLEDGE HAVE RECEIVED NO FURTHER COMMUNICATION ABOUT YOUR BEING SET UP TO HAVE MY VEHICLE PUT TO RIGHTS PER THE RECALL SCENARIO.
My experience with the cabin filter is something I would share with others - especially when two other customers were advised their vehicles needed the same thing.
