The finance department lied to me and mishandled my confidential information. They sold me a protection package claiming that it was from Hyundai Canada, but it was actually third party. I pointed out the mistakes, and they told me that they will fix the problems and rushed me through the rest of the signing process. Somehow, they still managed to mess up my information. The cherry on top was, I did not know that they made more mistakes until the bank almost sent my confidential paperwork to the wrong address because the dealership entered the information incorrectly. Don't buy a Hyundai. They are good vehicles but the service department is a bunch of schisters. Car is 2 years old, every oil change I pay at least $600 they always phone and say "something" looks wro service department is a bunch of schisters. Well taken care of. My 2013 Hyundai died on the freeway. We had BCAA tow it to their service centre in South Surrey. We were told the motor had seized and should be taken to a Hyundai dealer as there was a recall for that very issue. I was prepared for huge repair bill. To my pleasant surprise Carson called me to say the car had started up for him without issues. After confirming he had the right customer I asked him to give the car a once over as I really didn’t think cars fixed themselves. A less than honest person could have taken me for thousands of dollars and I would not have been any wiser. Bottom line, $150 for a look over and away I went. We still do not know what happened, but the car is running well. The Hyundai dealership is well represented by Carson and his crew. After looking through the lot I was unable to find the car so I went inside and reception called for a sales person, I was greeted by a young man who said they had some Ioniqs went into an office and came back with a sheet of paper, sat me down and started asking me for a bunch of personal information. I told him I just wanted to do a walk around of the car. He said that his sales manager insisted that they get a page of information from a prospective customer. I said I just wanted to see the car. He refused. I left. I have been in vehicle sales for over 21 years and this store needs a new sales manager before other potential customers are driven out of the store like I was. More
