Had a broken pin in the intake cam of my kia sorento (2017) Thought I'd get treated so great taking it to the dealership..man, was I wrong. Nightmare right from the beginning! At first i got a repai (2017) Thought I'd get treated so great taking it to the dealership..man, was I wrong. Nightmare right from the beginning! At first i got a repair quote of $281, so that was fine. Then, I get a call a day later telling me that the mechanic was mistaken and it was actually a $3800 fix instead! So...I have to fix it so I make the arrangements, but it's been 4 days and I still dont have any vehicle to drive, I had to call them everyday for 9 days to get a xxxx courtesy vehicle. I WILL NEVER, EVER GO BACK TO KIA More
The parts department sucks. Can’t get anyone on the phone or by email. I will gladly by parts ( I have 2 kia’s ) from Wheaton Kia in Regina and pay to have them shipped too Sask Can’t get anyone on the phone or by email. I am writing two reviews for sales – the good and the bad Combining them would give a mediocre average rating and the experience was not average. I was looking for a specific AWD sedan and there are bad Combining them would give a mediocre average rating and the experience was not average. I was looking for a specific AWD sedan and there are very few available these days of SUVs and pickup trucks. But Salesman B at Kia sent me an email link to the perfect vehicle with all the specs met that was on the Prince Albert website for Kia. I checked it out and it listed the “Final Price $38,3XX” I forgot the last two numbers as its been removed from the site. I thought that meant the top line price of the car would be $38,3XX plus the warranty and admin fees and tire charges and extended whatevers. Right, FINAL PRICE would be the FULL price of the car. Well not so much! When I went for the test drive, Salesman B was away that day and Salesman D helped me. When it came to the paperwork time, he presented me with a bill that started out with $39,845 plus all the add ons. Of course he didn't know anything about the FINAL price on the site. When I questioned Salesman B about it he emailed me saying “the difference in price is for the block heater, winter Matt's, mud guards and winter fluids.” Really? Like all that wasn't on the car two days earlier when it was advertised online at the PA location? Suddenly Final price meant without the prairie winter package? How stupid do they think I am!!?? For 15 minutes I was angry enough to just cancel the sale and walk away from this place. But then I realized I was dealing with CAR SALESPEOPLE. It's their nature to mislead you, to change figures, to treat you like it's your problem that you're confused and can't be flexible. You are just a warm body and all they want is a sale and it seems they think that I wouldn't buy the car if they had told me the right price up front. So they have to be sneaky about it. Salesman B: when you sent me the link to the car, why didn't you say “Oh yes, the final price doesn't include the winter package for an extra $1500”? No, that would have been honest and that's not the culture of car sales. After 7 or 8 new cars in the last 40 years you would think I had learned that lesson. But every time I get caught believing and most times I am disappointed. So my advice and warning here is don't believe what you are told, even when you see it online or in writing. Not until you have the sales agreement in your hand. Playing the sales game deception is just what they do – it's the nature of the beast as they say. Good luck! More

I continued So once I bought the car, the experience of actually doing the paperwork, learning about the car and driving away was much better. I continued to work with Salesman D and he was thorough and helpful during the show and tell in the car, explaining the functions and gadgets and making initial settings. He certainly knew the car well and could answer questions well. He also spent the time – at least 45 minutes so it wasn't just a cursory, here's you key, bye. It was certainly time well spent for me. The tour began with a visit to parts and service which I have never seen done at other dealers – it was refreshingly pleasant. I hope I never need the service department but I felt somewhat reassured that maybe now that the sales games were done, the service department would live up to its name and provide actual good service in an ethical, honest and respectful way. The next 8 or 10 years will tell! The finance person K was efficient and “no-name” friendly. Explanations and options were detailed and I had time to read all the brochures and make choices which I hope will meet my needs. As bad as the sales experience was, the actual purchase experience after that was satisfying. More

bought a vehicle and all verbal promises not met. seems different sheet was used for the final documentation. (they had refused to give us a preliminary copy) Rudely treated. fought to get the promotions on the printout we were given for servicing and then still over charged. No one returning emails or calls as to where the service report that we did not get is.... was the work even done???? we are not sending our friends here. Too bad....this is our third Kia Sorento (if you count the one that the motor blew up within the first week). and liked... Just do not understand the lack of customer service and the rude treatment we have been getting. Constantly calling to take in our mint condition Sorento on trade towards another. Have told them to stop with those calls and concentrate on returning ours. Kia Canada says "oh well, not our business" ???? More
I bought several vehicles as we were a vendor in the office equipment and they reminded us of that on a regular basis and continually threatened to pull the account as a form of pressure to do business office equipment and they reminded us of that on a regular basis and continually threatened to pull the account as a form of pressure to do business with them. They are the best on the day your buying a new vehicle then after the sale is done they have no time for you . We are glad to have finally lost them as a client after years of games and threats . I will never do business with them again as they are a joke.. More
Unimpressed with the service I have received. They hide when you need them, but have no problem with spamming me with calls for "maintenance". Refuse to admit there is something wrong with the transmission when you need them, but have no problem with spamming me with calls for "maintenance". Refuse to admit there is something wrong with the transmission on my 2019 Rio and I had to go elsewhere. Kia doesn't have real mechanics everything is done by computers and unless their little iPad tells them something is wrong they won't fix the problem. More
