BUYER BEWARE! ! False advertising on the website and high pressure sales tactics!!! Not even worth the one star. The prices on the website are NOT what they sell ca ! False advertising on the website and high pressure sales tactics!!! Not even worth the one star. The prices on the website are NOT what they sell cars for. Add at least $5,000 - $7,000 on top of list price. They will tell you you can't get a car for MSRP anymore but that is a lie. Go to another dealership and they will be happy to do it for you. Then, they add another $6,000 - $7,000 worth of "add ons" onto the the vehicle automatically without option to remove them. So when you sit down to talk numbers suddenly your car is $12,000 more than MSRP. They will pressure you to sign for a car quickly because they will "sell all of these cars in a few days". After happily taking your money, they will not refund you your deposit because they "stopped selling the car", even though it is still listed on their website and you hear other people in the dealership talking about viewing the same vehicle. Honestly... take your money elsewhere. In the end, it will not end up being a cost effective car. There are so many other dealerships that will not try to pressure you or rake you over the coals like this dealership will. You will get better value for money elsewhere. More
Terrible experience at Kia West. Will "from Texas" was not interested in selling a car. "Yes?" is how he greeted me when I entered the dealership. Will could not explain the console features and settings because "we have a delivery specialist that runs through that with you". During a brief test drive he fiddled with his phone and did not properly answer my questions. Very disappointing! I will not be back. More

He made our experience ordering a new vehicle such a pleasure and so stress free. Will is very knowledgeable and listened to everything we wanted in our vehicle. More importantly he listened to what we could afford, and along with his sales manager, worked with us to make a deal. We highly recommend going to Kia West Edmonton as you will be treated with nothing but respect and you will walk away feeling fantastic about your purchase. We can't wait to get the call saying our new Telluride is in! More
We came into Kia on March 9, 2022 excited to look at the new Sorento. Fortunately for us the salesperson, Will, wasn't interested in making a sale that day. From the very beginning we were made to feel unco new Sorento. Fortunately for us the salesperson, Will, wasn't interested in making a sale that day. From the very beginning we were made to feel uncomfortable. He never introduced himself to us, nor did he ever ask our names. He was very curt, and didn't even ask us to have a seat at his desk while he asked a few questions and typed on his keypad, so we had to awkwardly stand there. We are still not sure if he thought we were homeless or that we just couldn't afford a new vehicle, but after a quick test drive, unbeknownst to us, he had already dismissed us. So after several more uncomfortable moments back at his desk, watching him play on his phone, and dismissing any questions we had, we left and went to Ericksen Nissan where we were made to feel welcome. The sales team at Ericksen's showed us a few options and we ended up purchasing a new Rouge SV premium that same afternoon. Had we have had a different salesperson at the time, we may have ended up with a new Kia, and not realized how bad the service was until it was too late. So the moral to the story here is --Just because its a sellers market right now for new vehicles, doesn't mean you have to spend your money where they don't appreciate the people who are spending it. For reference, we are a couple in our late 50's More
I usually have a good experience with this dealership but this time they really missed the mark. I had taken my car for an alignment and was shown that the fault was with some worn out bushings. Since I have this time they really missed the mark. I had taken my car for an alignment and was shown that the fault was with some worn out bushings. Since I have extended warranty I took it to West Ed Kia and asked for it to be fixed. I was told I needed to pay an "inspection fee" as well as the deductible for warranty work. I did, and as expected they agreed the bushings were shot and would replace them. They never returned that inspection fee though. Every Kia dealer I asked stated the fee is only applicable when there is not a warrantable issue. I had an issue covered by warranty, I brought an independent diagnosis along with pictures of the issue. " Inspection" was done for them and they still felt it necessary to gouge me. Any other dealer in Edmonton does not have this outrageous and purely frivolous fee. If you need warranty service I very strongly suggest you avoid Paul and his service departments blatant cash grab. UPDATE: I finally had a chance to speak with Ryan, he informed me that Paul has the final say in everything service. I mentioned I would be contacting AMVIC next, he laughed, said "knock yourself out" and hung up. As a former AMVIC inspector, I am happy to put that ball in motion for you Ryan. Arrogance can be very costly... More
In August 2021 I ordered a car - Kia Telluride SX 2022. Early last week the car arrived at the dealer - Kia West Edmond. I made an appointment for delivery today February 10th. The dealer had almost 2022. Early last week the car arrived at the dealer - Kia West Edmond. I made an appointment for delivery today February 10th. The dealer had almost 10 days to prepare the car. Today I came from Calgary to Edmonton to pick up my 2022 Kia Telluride SX from the East Edmonton Kia dealer. When inspecting the car, I found 3 significant defects: 1 - a large deep scratch on the rear bumper, 2 - A dent in the roof near the sunroof. 3 - Damage to the front bumper when installing a block hitter. See photo. I informed the general sales manager Goran Spataru. My car was sent to the service area for inspection. While the inspection was going on, I signed a contract and asked that the above damages be included in the sale bill. The financial manager of Edgar Arturo Acevedo Becerril included this in the contract. I signed all the documents and the loan agreement - the car was bought on credit. Also in the process, I offered several options on how we can solve the problems that have arisen. But as it turned out and as I understood from the conversation, the dealership employees missed the moment of accepting the car from the manufacturer and the transport company and did not indicate damage 1 and 2. Also, when general sales manager Goran Spataru found out that financial manager of Edgar Arturo Acevedo Becerril had included damage in the sale bill, they began to demand that I return my copy and remove this information, since they do not want to be financially responsible. general sales manager Goran Spataru pre-arranged a rear bumper repair (1 is a large, deep scratch on the rear bumper) today, right now at the dealership. But when I refused to change an already signed sale bill, they said there would be no repair until I handed over and signed a new bill without stating the damage. Further, when I said that I will not return my copy and will not change documents general sales manager Goran Spataru and financial manager of Edgar Arturo Acevedo Becerril , they began to put pressure on me and threaten, WHAT !!!!! they will not send the documents to the bank and in a couple of days they will write a statement to the police that I stole a car. I had to call the police myself and open a claim that the dealership employees were threatening me and trying to make a fraud. After my call, general sales manager Goran Spataru offered me $150 damages compensation, which is very little. He said - take it or leave and no one will repair your car. Thus, the car was delivered to me with damage that the dealership employees refuse to fix, even though it is included in the bill of sale. Also, general sales manager Goran Spataru and financial manager of Edgar Arturo Acevedo Becerril tried to threaten me, to put pressure on me to give up my claims and change the documents More
