Charlene was incredibly compassionate and her and the service mgr advocated with Hyundai Canada to get my engine replaced for free. They arranged a loner as I just recently moved here. I was impressed by the level of communication through every step of a month long process. I also got a full video of my vehicle diagnostic which no dealership or autobody shop had ever provided. I have shared my experience to others and they said they would buy a hyundai because of how well my bad experience was turned around by the service department. Their oil change and tire switchover and storage are also very reasonable. They gave me peace of mind and treated me like a family member not just another customer. More

You can tell he’s a family man who really cares about the people he works with, and that comes through in how he treats his customers. He was knowledgeable, patient, and never once made me feel pressured. What stood out most was how he went above and beyond throughout the entire process to make sure everything went smoothly and that I felt confident in my decision. It’s clear why he’s so well-liked. One moment that really stood out: after the vehicle was detailed and ready for pickup, I was expecting to head back to the dealership—but instead, my doorbell rang and BT had personally delivered the Palisade to my home. That level of service was completely unexpected and speaks volumes about his commitment to his customers. I would highly recommend asking for BT if you’re visiting Kelowna Hyundai. More

We kept getting the run around at another Hyundai dealership about our EV car not being under warranty to fix a major battery issue. It took Harold less than 10 minutes to confirm that yes, we were under warranty and that we had extended warranty through Hyundai as well. Three weeks later, we basically have a brand new car again with the amazing work done by Harold and Dustin, the EV tech specialist! We will continue our journey with them from now on! More

Traded in my vehicle and they ended up taking 2 extra payments for a vehicle I no longer owned. 1 month later I got back 1 payment, not 2, and it wasn’t even the full amount! Be very careful at this Hyundai dealership. They tried to switch the car they said I was buying with a different car & then got real upset when i called them on it & threatened me. It was the most terrible experience I've had with buying anything. Be be very careful with these people. I felt pysically threatened when I refused to sign the paperwork when i saw the car they said I picked. Be very careful or just go to another dealer. I went to orchard Ford & bought a car from them & told me story. They were not surprised. This happened some years ago. But seeing many other bad reviews reminded me of it. Avoid them. they're preditory. More
My experience with Kelowna Hyundai was extremely disappointing and misleading. Significant charges were added to my contract without explanation or informed consent. These included: • Drive Care Program: $2,799.00 • Freight / D and D: $1,925.00 • 3M Protection: $2,999.00 • Diamond Fusion Coating: $999.00 • Environmental Protection Package: $3,349.00 • First Canadian Autoguard Warranty: $2,999.00 • Tire & Rim 1 Year Warranty: $699.00 Total: $15,769.00 CAD before tax None of these charges were explained during signing, and I was never given official documents from Hyundai Canada confirming I requested or accepted them. I didn’t even receive a copy of the sales contract until after multiple visits and repeated pressure. I dealt directly with Brent Hartle (Finance Manager) and Sam Ghessesow (General Manager), and the interaction was filled with evasion, psychological pressure, and a clear lack of transparency. I was made to feel like I was the problem, instead of being treated like a customer with rights. Even after I surrendered the vehicle due to financial strain, I’m still being held responsible for the full loan—including these hidden charges. When I raised my concerns, I received a thinly veiled threat from the dealership: “We would appreciate you immediately stopping slanderous remarks.” This is not slander. Once it was towed to Kelowna, Tyler Berkers took great care of me. He ensured to keep me in the loop of my required repairs, estimated times for parts and then again for service. He also ensured that I got a loaner vehicle to enable me to minimize the work days I missed. Justin White provided me a brand new Tuscon and I was able to use it for a few days to get back to Chilliwack for work. My wife and I have bought from other Hyundai stores with not the best experience but we agreed that our next purchase will be from the Kelowna dealership. Thanks for making my car breakdown experience way less painful guys! Keep up the great work! Tony More
