It seems we were out on your 2008 Pontiac Trade value and could not get you what you requested for it. Also, the offer you presented was a large discount for a 2016 Trail Teams edition 4 Runner, one of our best selling models. We just could not meet the terms you requested on your deal. We definitely are trying to earn your business and be competitive, but sometimes the numbers don't make sense on one side to complete a transaction. We are happy that you got into a Toyota product. FOLLOW UP TO POST: Chris, thanks for responding from your busy schedule although quite disappointing that this was the only way we could get in touch. It's quite unfortunate that even after asking to speak to you, we had to wait several hours but you still didn't seem to warrant a quick discussion with us. I am not sure if those are the sales tactics used by your dealership however that is the reason you lost our business.There also seems to be some miscommunication between you and your sales associates since we made it clear that we wouldn't be trading in our vehicle and would be selling it privately so that was not an issue. Moreover, the offer we made on the 2016 which was sitting on the lot for a few months was more than fair after discussing with other dealerships since we were still able to get a 2017 model for less without any haggling. As you have, and have always had my contact information, feel free to contact me if you want to discuss further.

Other dealers that have this vehicle will not give it up for trade due to the high demand and low supply in the country. Glad you got a truck and were taken care of in the end.
