Upon pick up Atheer was very thorough with showing us all the options in our vehicle and setting up our phone to the bluetooth. I have purchased vehicles before, and each time I feel like a salesperson is there to do their job and once you pick the car up their involvement is over. I have called Atheer twice since I picked up my car and he constantly pointed out he will always be available when and if I call. He is a true gentleman and I would only recommend that my friends and family come to see him. More

I walked in on Tuesday, had a very approachable, friendly, accommodating salesman, purchased the Santa Fe that same afternoon. It wasn't stressful at all. We bought this car for our daughter in May 2013 for this past summer. Alex Lapointe was the salesperson, and he recommended that we keep the car after the summer after we had purchased an extended warranty past summer. All went very well until our daughter accidently backed into the gas cover while filling it, and shattered the cover. I called on 16 August to replace the cover, and asked when it would be done, and the person in sales indicated it would be received and sent out for painting and returned by Thursday 22 August. I told him I would make an appointment for installation of the cover and maintenance the next day, and he said that would be great. I then called service for the appointment with them agreeing that what was needed was an oil change and adding that we wanted the gas cover installed as well, which should be under the full service warranty. I called today - 22 August - to confirm the appointment and asked about the gas cover - service said to talk to parts, which I did. The person in parts said it had just come in, and was not ready as it needed to be painted. I asked how come we were not notified since we had made the service appointment, and he asked if we had asked that 'RUSH' be added to the order, which was brand new information for us. I responded I did not know, and he said the part would be ready at the earliest on Monday. I then called service and expressed my disappointment with this process and the timing, and they said there was nothing about a gas cover on the request for service! I then indicated major disappointment, saying that we had planned to take the car out of service on Monday 26 August (daughter is leaving for University), and the insurance would be reduced, making the car undrivable. They then asked if I wanted to reschedule, and I did so at the earliest convenient date of 13 September (I will need to have insurance reinstated for that day to drive it!) This lack of connection between departments, inability to guarantee a delivery date and then blaming the customer, and then not claiming any responsibility for the resulting chaos and additional cost of insurance leaves me less than respectful of Hyundai Hunt Club's reputation and service. This is not a good image for a first time service call, and in contrast with the dealers of our other cars leaves me not wanting to deal with this particular parts and service in the future, or recommend it to anyone else. This morning - Friday 23 August the Service Manager Diego D'Antonio called and offered to work through the situation, promising to have the service done this afternoon. I am feeling heard and supported by this dealership. We went in to have the repair done - the oil change and recall were no cost. I met Diego and h apologized for the confusion, and asked what price we were quoted for the gas cover. I indicated the service person said $40 to $50 for the part plus paint, but nothing beyond that. After our car was taken in for the repair, the service technician (who did not know my name or ever asked) called out with the quote and said it was in the neighborhood of $230! The paint for the gas cover was $110, the part $42, the labour $55, and then taxes. For this, we received no advance notice. At the other dealers, we had always been given an accurate estimate up front and asked to sign before the work began. The repair is done, our daughter is glad the car is repaired, and hopefully other than oil changes, we will not have to work with service again. More
