I have been dealing with Chris O Connor then sales Representative who sold me my 2023 Honda Civic Touring in February 16 2023. At time of closing the deal and picking up the car, I was directed to o Representative who sold me my 2023 Honda Civic Touring in February 16 2023. At time of closing the deal and picking up the car, I was directed to on Mr. Martin Cote. This person is responsible for all Financial matters related to closing costs. This is also the opportunity for this Financial manager to try and upsell other services such as the Honda Plus warranty program. I agreed to purchase this 7 year / 84000 km. warranty. After a few weeks when given the time I read thru the details of the Honda Plus Contract. It then showed to me that what ever Honda Plus was offering was also covered by my Insurance company . I called the dealership and and spoke with Martin Cote requesting he complete the Request for Cancellation Form as directed by Honda Canada / Finance. This where things became very nasty. Martin Cote became outraged at my insistence that I did not want the Honda Plus warranty. Cancellation was allowed by Honda Canada as long as it was within 60 days and the car was not a total loss. Martin Cote started to raise his voice and became abusive. He accused me of not understanding English and suggested that I go home. He questioned my parentage and used the f-word many times.. Then he started abusing me in French knowing that I did not speak French. I could understand his frustration on him losing his commission on the $1698/- cost of the Honda Plus service warranty. I could accept all that he said, but when a manger from the Dealership becomes abusive and used foul, unprofessional language, then I will not tolerate. Any issue or differences can be discussed and settled, but not questioning my parents and using F-bombs through out the discussion. And then Martin Cote had the audacity to hang up on a customer. Never again with this man or this dealership. More
I have purchased over 18 new vehicles over the years . I had good and bad customer experiences dealing with dealerships of many brands . I bought a Honda civic touring 2023 at the Gagne Honda dealership in Hawkesbury Ontario this Saturday! I can describe my buying Experience as memorable ! In short Wow! Courteous ,honest and friendly staff from the sales Director Benoit to the sales person Chris and yes even my experience with the Finance Director Ionut . Chris to me is the new generation of car salesman who understand the importance of a honest and friendly no pressure interaction with the client. How refreshing! Benoit is fair and seeks a Win Win approach in the deal for both his business and the client and again with no pressure! Even if you live as fare as Ottawa Gatineau or Montreal believe me it is worth the drive or at the very least a call or an email if you are thinking on getting a new. Got a call from Nathalie saying there is a good deal, lower interest and we could switch to a newer vehicle and costing less. Very pushy, loud, impatient if you don’t understand, manipulative, rude, humiliating, pressures and a lack of respect. When she talks she’s all over the place and left confused. I felt being taking advantage of. She was more happy with the deal than I was and telling me they had a buyer for my car to put more pressure. On my way home I was rethinking everything and really I don’t care if you have a buyer or not. The client has the last word. We went back as we had to sign papers but at this time we had decided we were keeping our vehicle for the duration of the rental. We will not be going to Honda Hawkesbury anymore or dealing with Nathalie. She rubbed us the wrong way. More

Horrible Is zero stars an option? Alexandre Maher is condescending and arrogant. I drove to Hawkesbury to sign and pick up a car that we viewed in photos and t Is zero stars an option? Alexandre Maher is condescending and arrogant. I drove to Hawkesbury to sign and pick up a car that we viewed in photos and that a family member went and saw in person. When we arrived, there was new noticeable and large damage that was not there a few days prior. Obviously, we did not accept the vehicle as it was, and Alex refused to have it fixed, also refused to provide any vehicle maintenance history, so we decided to walk away from the deal. Upon not accepting delivery of the car, Alex and the sales manager Benoit refused to return our deposit which was conditional to the sale and used only to hold the car. When we protested and explained they had no right to the deposit, Benoit then said he would be polite for 30 more seconds and then would call the police to have us removed. Hidden fees, hidden damage, no vehicle history, rude, unprofessional staff. Be warned. Do not buy from Hawkesbury Honda. I found another vehicle at another dealership and had an amazing experience. Strongly recommend Linda at Barrhaven Honda. More
Stressful. This was the first time I went to a dealership to buy a car, and was not a great experience. I felt forced in the decision making process, and was not told enough information regarding the sale or car. When it came time the actually purchase of the car numbers were not accurate to what was talked about over the phone. Our sale rep was new and we felt as though she was not knoweleadge enough, and seem to be all over the place. Few days following the sale the car has been having issues and although we recieved an email saying if we had questions not to hesitate emailing back, we have yet to receive a reply. The overall experience was not enjoyable, nor something I would like to go through again. More
