Reason for early oil change Had accidentally left the car idling for 2 hours and therefore in view of the recent article about the Honda CRV and contaminated oil problems.....I Had accidentally left the car idling for 2 hours and therefore in view of the recent article about the Honda CRV and contaminated oil problems.....I decided it would be wise to change the oil which was in fact not a good colour for the limited mileage since the last oil change. It was changed but the percentage change was not reset which is fine with me. More

Quick, friendly, comprehensive. Your service was fine as always. My problem was that my new Civic tends to wander around when speed gets over 60 mph. This I discovered on my way to Your service was fine as always. My problem was that my new Civic tends to wander around when speed gets over 60 mph. This I discovered on my way to Florida, not before. Three trips on the QE before I bought it didn't allow me speeds over 50 mph. As my third Civic, this steering issue was a surprise. I guess I was spoiled by 20 years in an Accord. As a smaller car the Civic is comparatively bumpy, and bouncy. Around town, it was just fine. I could find nothing in the internet reviews about control. One blog mentioned "drifting", but this was five or six years ago. The steering is very direct, I think this was the term Brad used, to try to explain it. Tight or stiff might be alternate terms. Once a bad road surface changes the direction slightly, the car tends to continue in that new direction. The tires, and alignment were fine. A friend who investigated airline crashes suggested that maybe at a certain rpm, the car could develop a resonance. I think this would be noticeable. Toe-in, toe-out? I'm not an engineer. Smaller wheelbase? I think I'll trade it in for an Accord. More
