These guys won't stop contacting me despite telling them multiple times to put me on a do not call list. I have filed a complaint with the CRTC. I took it to another company, who was as confused as I was - and we happily went off forgetting Gyro Mazda ever existed. Do not go here. More

Came to Gyro with brake issue CX5. 2 days later get text to press button to authorize repairs and “issues” they found, for $9k +taxes. Not one item related to brakes. Stated new battery needed $315; stated Front Camera needs to be replaced, $2100; states new bushing needed - went back to dealership and showed them invoice Green/Ross 5 months ago showing new coil/plugs/battery; next day get “revised” list with coil/plugs gone and now other “issues” found so bill now $10k; get called by Sales team recommending “not worth to put $10k in this car , we have amazing deals… in addition, previous owner was receiving texts and emails of these private transactions. Took car back to Green/Ross who showed me the battery they put in testing like new; said and showed me that front camera was working fine; and that rear bushings not urgent and could last. All I could think of is how many customers would have pressed Yes to authorize thousands of dollars of not just unnecessary repairs but getting caught so blatantly in multiple deceptions. More

Initially, I was in the process of purchasing a car from another dealership when a representative from Gyro Mazda reached out, promising a better deal and claiming they could beat the price by $2,000. Based on this claim, I cancelled the other deal and decided to move forward with Gyro Mazda. That was my first mistake — trusting their word. From there, the process became a nightmare. They told me the finance approval would take 2 days, but no one followed up, and every time I called, I was ignored, redirected, or given vague answers. The salesperson who helped me initially refused to give any updates, saying, "I'm not the right person to ask," and pushed me off to someone else — who also never responded. After nearly 2 weeks of chasing them, I was told the finance person handling my file was on leave. When I finally went to the dealership in person, I found out the truth: the finance person had actually LEFT the company — and they tried to hide this from me! They only admitted it when I confronted them face-to-face. When I gave them an ultimatum to either get the approval immediately or cancel the deal, a “new” finance person suddenly appeared and told me that I didn’t have a strong enough credit score — something they should’ve checked and communicated right at the beginning. Only after pressuring them did they agree to cancel the deal and promised to refund my deposit within 3–5 business days. But here’s the real kicker — the $2,000 discount they used to lure me away from another dealership? Turns out it was only $1,500, and even that was misrepresented during the negotiation process. This entire experience was a textbook case of false advertising, miscommunication, and internal chaos. Highlights of their failure: * Misleading discounts and bait-and-switch tactics * False timelines for approval * Poor internal communication and no accountability * Finance manager handling my case had already left and they hid it * No clear point of contact — everyone kept passing the buck * Wasted nearly 3 weeks of my time with no result Bottom line: Gyro Mazda operates with misleading promises and absolutely no regard for customer time, trust, or transparency. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere — to a dealership that values honesty, communication, and professional service. I regret ever walking through their doors. More

Bought a used 2022 Mazda, it needed minor previously undisclosed issues to be addressed, which as a CPO car they said they would repair all. Worse in that I have called the dealership repeatedly, left messages for finance manager, salesman, Manager of the dealership and two+ weeks in, none have returned my call or updated us on delivery date. The dealership seems very indifferent, they snare a customer, sell a car, forget customer service and satisfaction and then never deliver the car? More

It featured a row of smiley and sad faces next to each employee's name. Curious, I asked someone (who I won’t name to protect their privacy) what it was. They explained it was a performance marking system—employees earned a smiley face for a perfect performance score and a sad face for anything less than a 10. Wait, what? You need to be perfect just to "pass"? This type of system is not only archaic and demeaning but also counterproductive. As someone with experience in such environments, I can confidently say it fosters fear, perfectionism, and resentment rather than genuine improvement or motivation. People make mistakes—it’s human. An effective workplace should provide specific, supportive feedback in an environment where employees feel safe to learn and grow. This juvenile "report card" system doesn’t reflect the true quality of service or the professionalism of the staff. Instead, it reduces their performance to a simplistic score, which ultimately benefits no one—not the employees, not the management, and certainly not the customers. More

A perfectly functioning car is at risk of being damaged, even for a simple oil change as we found out. This was the only mechanical shop which had ever touched our Mazda 5 after coming from their showroom. Now we have to take it elsewhere to repair the damage they inflicted! Update: The Drain Plug was cross threaded at the fall oil change. Gyro refused to acknowledge it. The cost to repair the damage they caused. A replacement engine oil pan, gasket, and hardware $390.75 PLUS the labour to install. More
