Buyers beware of my experience with a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle from Guelph Toyota! I purchased a Toyota Certified Used RAV4 Hybrid on Sept 8, 2026 and within 2 weeks, there was a distinct dashboar Used Vehicle from Guelph Toyota! I purchased a Toyota Certified Used RAV4 Hybrid on Sept 8, 2026 and within 2 weeks, there was a distinct dashboard rattling/buzzing noise during acceleration. Getting this resolved has been frustrating, with repeated delays and poor communication. I have emails and service invoices documenting my experience: Sept 25: The buzzing noise was officially verified under Invoice #208897. I was informed a proper fix requires removing the dash (10 hours of labour). The Assistant Used Car Manager K.C. offered to cover only a portion of the cost, despite this being a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle driven less than 1,400 km since purchase. Sept 28: I requested an escalation to senior management. The Pre-Owned Sales Manager A.K. was made aware but did not provide a written response or follow up to resolve the issue. Oct 6: After receiving no written response for a week from the Pre-Owned Sales Manager A.K., I emailed General Manager Michael Tavares to dispute the charges. It took approx. 2 weeks to finally receive approval to bring the car in for service at no charge. Oct 22–23: The dealership held my car for 2 days. The technician G.A. documented on the paperwork that he took the vehicle on "multiple road tests" and a "long road test" to verify a tape fix. However, the printed invoice shows the vehicle's odometer reading "In" and "Out" were identical at 87,785 km. This discrepancy remains unexplained. The exact same buzzing noise was still present immediately after pickup on Oct 23. I returned to the dealership that evening. I am currently waiting for a response from General Manager Michael Tavares regarding how Guelph Toyota plans to resolve this. I will update this review to reflect the response and actions. More

Me and my husband went to check out a tacoma trailhunter yesterday at this location. It was in there show room that was fine. We where there for about 20 min. Dont get me wrong some where dealing with customers but they weren't busy in there. It felt like we were being judged. Like they way we looked. Like we couldn't afford it or something. And the should Never judge a book by its cover. Which we were waiting on ours to show up. So we wanted to see it. More

I've never experienced service at this high level of quality from another car dealership. Not even another Toyota car dealership. I had a deadline to meet, and a recall from another country to clear, quality from another car dealership. Not even another Toyota car dealership. Second visit, same vehicle, different issue - within minutes I was told what needed to be done, what part needed to be ordered, how long it would take - and then subsequently, I was emailed options. Shout out to Jason Cairns, and Pete. Will gladly recommend Guelph Toyota to anyone. More

These clowns just scammed my 83 year old mother for a "safety inspection" that she didn't need. AND told her it didn't pass due to needing rear brakes which is complete xx. Had the best experience ever at Guelph Toyota Service. We take our Toyota Sienna in on a regular basis for service. This week we were away on a trip and had an emergency on the road and CAA were towing u We take our Toyota Sienna in on a regular basis for service. This week we were away on a trip and had an emergency on the road and CAA were towing us to Guelph Toyota. I called ahead and told them the situation and they booked me in at 5:00 that day. Upon arrival Owen helped me and checked the vehicle in. He was so polite and caring. He even took my suitcase out of the vehicle and took it into the service waiting area as we had to be shuttled home. The shuttle took the suitcase and put it in the van. Upon arrival at my home the shuttle driver carried the suitcase into the house. Within 2.5 hours the vehicle was fixed. The shuttle service picked me up and returned me to the dealership. Upon arrival, once again, it was Owen who checked me out. He was so kind and personable and informed how they fixed the vehicle. The way this young man treated me from beginning to end has renewed my faith in Guelph Toyota Service. Thank you Owen. More

Bought a new vehicle from Guelph Toyota, paid for extended warranty, ceramic & rust protection. Dealership cannot provide any documentation to guarantee ceramic coating was done, they also pushed rus extended warranty, ceramic & rust protection. One of the extras that I bought & paid for was not put on the vehicle, when I noticed and emailed them I was told it was on back order. No mention of that when we picked the truck up. We have bought many, many vehicles from Guelph Toyota, this just may be our last. More
